Chapter 546
"Are you threatening me?" Grace looked at them indifferently without avoiding eye contact. She said
clearly, "I can't help you with your problems."
"You are such a b*tch," Tobias scolded angrily as soon as he heard that Grace did not want to help
them. "You are just a girl who got pregnant before getting married. Shame on you."
Grace froze and squinted her eyes as she said coldly, "Why do you care so much, old man? I
respected you because you are an elder, but all you've only done is humiliate me. By not saying
anything, it does not mean that I deserve to be treated this way."
"You, you, how dare you scold me?" Tobias pointed at Grace. He raised his hand and wanted to hit
Grace.
Grace stepped back and walked to the door. Then, she glared at them, "You asked for this. Even if I am
ashamed of being pregnant before marriage, what does it have to do with you?"
"I've never gone knocking on your door but you came to me on your own to throw shame on me. Don't
you know that you are the ones being shameless?"
"Perhaps, both of you are the direct cause of whatever that happens to Simon."
"As elders, you are being too disrespectful and rude. You don't even know what's truly going on and
you've lost your morality, yet you still want to insult
others?"
"Please leave as soon as possible. You might not be able to handle my harsh words if you stay any
longer."
Grace did not want to say anything else thus she turned around and left.
There was no need for her to care about such ignorant people.
As for her past with Simon, she had nothing to do with him ever since he used her many years ago.
Whenever Grace recalled her newborn son being taken away from her for many years, her heart would
hurt like it was shattered into pieces.
She could not be any more tolerant than this.
Tobias chased after Grace due to anger. He was not satisfied with her attitude as she had insulted him.
Before Grace could return to her workplace, Tobias grabbed her wrist and dragged her back.
She furrowed her brows as she tried to yank her wrist away from him.
Tobias was too strong, thus she couldn't escape from his strong grip.
Her wrist hurt but Tobias held on to it tightly.
Tobias did not care even though many people in the office were watching. He said, "Grace, you are so
heartless. You did terrible things to my son and I want everyone to know about it! I'm going to expose
you!"
Grace felt as if she was about to suffocate to death by Simon's father.
Even if he wanted to expose her, she was not afraid of it.
She had never thought about harming anyone else. She would always act in self-defense only.
She always felt that if she did not fight back, she would be a weakling under other's control.
Everyone in the office was shocked by Tobias' words. They looked at him in shock.
Everyone knew Grace's personality clearly. Grace and Hermione even became good friends. Because
of Grace, Heinz funded Entertainment Daily. The environment improved drastically compared to before.
Everyone was very grateful to Grace. They stood up and gathered around Tobias as soon as they
heard his words.
"Sir, speak if you want to, but your grip is hurting her," Chuck stepped forward and grabbed Tobias'
hand.
"Let go of me." Tobias shouted, "I am grabbing her to prevent her from escaping!"
Tobias was angry at Grace's attitude because she was being disrespectful. He tightened his grip in
anger in an attempt to hurt Grace.
Chuck saw Tobias tighten his grip and Grace's slender arm was clenched tightly by him.
Chuck grabbed Tobias's hand and tightened his grip as he said coldly, "You let go of her first."
Tobias furrowed his brows in pain due to Chuck's grip-
Chuck said, "Grace is not a bad person. If you want
to talk about her, you should let go of her first. Grace works here every day. She won't escape.
Moreover, you are not just grabbing her. It looks like you are deliberately hurting her."novelbin
Tobias froze at Chuck's word. Plus, Chuck was grabbing his hand tightly. Thus, he could only let go of
Grace's wrist.
Chuck lifted Grace's sleeve and noticed that there was a red and purple bruise on her wrist.
The blood had clotted due to Tobias' grip.
It seemed like Tobias had used a lot of strength.
Everybody saw what he did.
Grace took a step back and looked at Tobias.
Britney rushed over as soon as she saw what happened. Her mood had changed.
She rushed over and looked at Grace as she said, "Grace, we are your ex-boyfriend's parents and your
sister's in- laws. Aren't you too heartless and disrespectful for treating us this way?"
Grace froze at Britney's words.
Britney did it on purpose.
Simon's mother mentioned that they were Grace's ex's parents and her current in-laws on purpose, to
tell everyone that she had a history with Simon.
Needless to say, Britney's intention was clear.
It was clear to her that they were not going to be nice to her. Hence, she wasn't going to be nice to
them any longer either.
"Mrs. Brown, you are indeed my sister's in-laws but it seems that you have forgotten that it was your
son who brought his lover into the house. He messed around with his lover in front of my sister and
even tied my sister up to watch them have s*x. My sister personally called the police to arrest your
son."

"Don't, don't even think about blaming Simon." Tobias said, "Don't think that I don't know this is all part
of your plan."
"Part of my plan?" Grace asked in reply, "What plan do I have?"
"You want to purposely hurt Simon."
"What a joke," Grace replied indifferently. "Did I hurt your son? Can I even defeat him in a fight? Your
son has found a lover and abused my sister. He was taken away by the police. You didn't go to the
police but came to me instead. This is ridiculous."
"Grace, you are too stubborn." Tobias sneered, "You hooked up with Heinz to frame Simon. You are still
not admitting it!"
"Mr. and Mrs. Brown." Grace replied, "The police concluded the case as there was clear evidence.
Evidence is also needed when you want to file a lawsuit. You should be looking for evidence instead of
rattling on with me here. Moreover, it seems like
your son isn't as innocent as you said."
"You've framed us. Of course you won't help us."
"Mr. Brown." Grace looked at Tobias and said, "You insist that it is me who framed you, but you still
came to me for help. Now, you are even humiliating me in public. I'm really confused with your standing
and logic. What are you trying to do really?"
Tobias was speechless when he heard Grace's defense.
Everyone looked at him as if they were watching a movie. Tobias thought that if he shouted at Grace in
public, she would be pressured to do as they instructed. Who knew that everyone would stretch their
necks to look at and judge them?
At the side, Britney said, "Grace, we are your elders. You cannot act out of deference. You can't just
forget about us after you and Heinz have gotten together. This makes no sense!"
