“I heard it from Alpha Nick’s own mouth,” Tom emphasized since Charlotte did not believe him.Then she recalled that before Sheila–left, he made her promise to come visit the pack once in awhile.
“Yes, that could be the only reason. “It was part of their arrangement for her to come and visit thepack here and then. There is nothing more to it,” Charlotte said aloud, comforting herself with thearrangement. Tom was disappointed and shook his head.
“Then you are just as dumb as the pack members say. Sheila is going to stay forever. Have youthought about it?
your Alpha Nick doesn’t care about you anymore. Reject him and let’s leave. You have not beendisowned from pack like me. We can begin life over there,” Tom advised.
The strange feeling he kept having would not allow him to relax. Something unforeseeable wascoming, and he wanted to leave before it arrived. Charlotte still disagreed.
“Alpha Nick is only upset because I’m weak. I’m still his mate so he can’t do anything with Sheila.It’s against his principles. Don’t forget I was the reason why he sent her away.”
Sheila was gone for good, and Charlotte was certain that Alpha Nick would want nothing to do withher. This visit was just for him to keep his promise to the pack members.
Tom could not understand his reason for falling in love with such a dumb woman. Now he felt foolishto have rejected his destined mate because of her.
“Alright. You are on your own. I will find a way to leave this pack before it’s too late. They saidguests were coming. They are already here, but the pack house is still being spotlessly cleaned.
Her seven brothers are coming too. Do you stand a chance?”
Tom tried one last time to elope from the pack as this seemed like the perfect opportunity. Theguests were a great distraction for Alpha Nick to not detect their untimely departure.
“I never knew before that she was the Alpha King’s daughter, but don’t worry. As long as Alpha Nickand I are still mates, Sheila is nothing even if she is the moon goddess,” Charlotte said confidently.
Since she was the reason Sheila left, she would ensure that she doesn’t stay after the introductionto the pack
members.

“Alright. If you say so. Like you already know, I have nothing now. I need a place to start from. Ican’t continue living like this. Without being a pack member, I am not entitled to anything except thefree food and shelter I get at the pack house. When was the last time Alpha Nick bought youclothes?” He asked, making Charlotte sorrowful.
Alpha Nick used to be generous to her but suddenly got stingy.
“He won’t make us pack members because we are not important to him. Shall we visit the woodslater? Sex is the only thing that makes me feel like I’m still a man,” Tom suggested. If Charlottewon’t leave with him, he could have goodbye S*x with her before leaving.
“Of course, but I would like to see the face of that bitch first plus we have to be very careful.”
Alpha Nick and the other Alphas arrived at training, excited. The pack members were surprised tosee their Alpha in such a good mood, lightening the atmosphere.
“Alpha Nick, isn’t that your mate? Why have you not introduced her?” Alpha Seiko asked inannoyance. Alpha Nick’s gaze darkened as he replied,
“We are here to train so everyb*dy is the same.” Then he turned to the warriors. “Everyone, takeyour positions. The four Alphas we talked about are here in our midst. I hope you will put on yourbest behavior and oh, I have a surprise for everyb*dy tomorrow.”
The warriors were super excited. Coming from their Alpha, they knew it was going to be a blast,though not knowing what the surprise was.
Charlotte’s expression was dark, faintly guessing it was because of Sheila. Why was Alpha Nickhyping her like that? Was it because Charlotte was weak? She could taste bitterness in her mouth.
Alpha Seiko felt that Alpha Nick was acting weird but kept his reservations until training was over.As they played golf, he asked again in detail.
“Alpha Nick, is there a problem between you and your mate? You seem distant towards her.”
Alpha Nick had no interest in speaking about Charlotte so he rather said, “My wife would be arrivingat the pack tonight. I’d rather prefer that you don’t mention my mate.”
Alpha Seiko shook his head. This was one of the most respectable Alphas and also one of thebiggest packs. Alpha Nick was a role model so how could he be doing this?

“Alpha Nick, that is not right. If you found your mate, then you should let your wife
go.”
Alpha Nick smiled at the mention of wife. “Don’t worry. By the time you leave this pack, we candecide on who my Luna should be.” This revenge plan should not take him more than three days,being tired of seeing Charlotte’s miserable face every day.
At sundown, dinner was being prepared, and the table was well arranged for twenty people. Athenadid not believe that Sheila was coming, as the latter had still not called her, but she and Tedmondstill dressed formally. Beta Dustin was dressed in a suit since his Alpha had done the same.
Bree had explained things to Alpha Ansaldo, but he still feared Sheila revealing what happened withher drink.
The packhouse looked elegant, and somehow, Charlotte had also dressed nicely, same as Tom.Alpha Nick did the last–minute checks on his own to ensure that everything was fine, just as a mindlink came through.
‘Alpha, our guests from the Moon Shine Pack have arrived. They should be at the pack house in aminute.’
“She’s here,” Alpha Nick screamed like a kid and rushed out after the call, everyb*dy followed her.Tom and Charlotte followed but stood a distance away.
Alpha Nick and Beta Dustin were the ones going to welcome the guests. Eight different Bugatti LaVoiture Noire drove in a convoy. The fifth one was yellow, and they slowed down to a stop in front of
the pack house.
Alpha Nick instinctively moved towards the yellow one. Ever since the divorce, he always only sawSheila in a yellow car. When he opened the door, it was not Sheila who stepped out, but hewelcomed her.
“Goldie, welcome.”
Strangely, Goldie’s gaze was on the man behind Alpha Nick. Before he could ask if there was aproblem, two voices, a male and a female sounded together, “mate.”
