Chapter 827
Inside the infirmary of the mansion in the suburbs, Shaun stared blankly at the woman whom thebodyguards threw onto the hospital bed, his eyes filled with surprise.
“Uh... W-What...”
Lindsey walked in shortly after, smiling as she said, “Shaun, you wanted this woman, didn't you? Well,I've brought her here for you. You can take it out on her if there's anything you're mad about. Shedeserves it. If it weren't for her, you wouldn't have suffered so much.”
Shaun thought he was seeing an illusion, so he shook his head and blinked repeatedly.
No matter how many times he did that, the face he loathed to the bone still remained before his eyes.
“Caridee... It's really her, eh? Haha! The heavens are truly on my side. This bitch is finally in myhands.”
After letting out a roar, he suddenly turned his head to look at Lindsey, who stood beside him. “How didyou get her?”
Lindsey briefly recounted the course of events.
“Wonderful.” Shaun burst into wild laughter. “That b*stard at home likes this woman, doesn't he? Thatd*mned person actually dared to cripple me because of her. And now his first crush is in my hands; I'vegot him by the throat. It'll be my loss if I don't torture him.” novelbin
Lindsey chuckled softly and then quietly slipped out of the room.
Moments later, a chilling scream echoed within the room, intermingled with a string of curses.
The smile on Lindsey's face gradually contorted as she listened to the delicate and helpless cries.
Once her elder brother had vented his anger, he would probably help her fight for her marriage.
“Ms. Carter, you're really speedy and decisive. I admire that.”
A playful male voice reached her ears, pulling Lindsey back from her wandering thoughts.
She instinctively looked up, meeting Tucker's twinkling eyes.
“Well, I must thank you, Mr. Tucker. Without your assistance, Caridee wouldn't have been able toescape from the base so easily.”
The disdain in Tucker's eyes grew even more intense after he heard those words.
He would not have needed to create a fake Caridee if he could actually get the real one out of thebase.
What a joke. This foolish woman actually believes I bribed someone at the base to release Caridee.
Although the person in charge of the base was actually a mole from the Hoffman family, Tucker couldnot get Caridee out because Zeke had people watching her around the clock.
“Ms. Carter, you flatter me. We both stand to benefit from our cooperation. Did you happen to put in agood word for me in front of Mr. Carter just now?”
“Don't worry, Mr. Tucker. I've told my brother that you've made a great effort to capture Caridee.”

With a few hearty laughs, Tucker then strolled toward the ward.
The door was wide open, and a heart-wrenching scream came from within.
He stood at the doorway, taking in the gruesome scene inside the room.
Everyone said that Shaun had a twisted mind and ruthless methods. Whatever he saw that day hadconfirmed the rumors.
Although the man was impotent, it did not stop him from tormenting women.
No one knew where he got the iron rod from, but he was incessantly poking Astrid with it.
That scene was too gruesome.
Even a man like Tucker found it hard to bear.
This torment continued for about ten minutes, until finally, the screams inside the room ceased. Astrid,having been tortured to the brink of exhaustion, passed out completely.
Shaun felt much better. As he walked to the door, he said to Tucker, “Sorry for any inconvenience,Tucker.”
Tucker chuckled, “There's no need for that. She's already in your hands now. There's plenty of timeahead for you to enjoy her company. There's no need to rush at this moment. Without a second thought, Tucker immediately agreed, “Your enemies are my enemies. Even if youdidn't ask, I would have helped you all the same. Besides, you already have a hold on that dude's

Shaun burst into hearty laughter. “Very well. I'll arrange for some people to help you. Give me twodays.”
