Chapter 3156

Nevertheless, the blood relation between Caroline and Belinda couldnot be erased.

If Belinda had indeed murdered Tiara, Caroline would be an enemy toSerenity and the rest.

After a short silence, Liberty asked, “Where's Sonny?”

“He’s drawing now. He was practicing on the piano for a while just nowwhen we got home.”

“No homework?”

Serenity smiled. “No. Even if he does, he can finish it within a minute. He simply needs to draw with a pencil. At his age, having fun at schoolis the main priority.”

Learning how to write was a task they assigned to Sonny.novelbin

Although most children were having fun in school, those enrolled inWiltspoon's most expensive and best preschool were from wealthy orinfluential families. They would succeed their families in the future, sotutors were hired by their families to educate them separately.

Quite a number of Sonny's classmates could recognize many words.Despite their young age, they were brimming with talent.

Not wanting Sonny to lag behind his classmates, Liberty had Sonnypick up some skills, including writing and attending art classes.Sonny was interested. He had quite an artistic sense and could drawwell. His art teacher even described his style as bold and creative.“Do you want to talk to Sonny?”

Liberty replied, “Later. Did you have something to say to me earlierwhen you called, Seren?”

“It's nothing. I just wanted to remind you to keep an eye on Duncan andnot let him be snatched away. I brought Sonny to Lewis & Co. today. He likes going there after school every day.

“Duncan said he needed to go to York Corporation to discuss a projectwith Zachary, so he came along.

“When we were leaving, we met Mrs. Torres. Her husband passedaway years ago and she took over his businesses. They have a son, about eight or nine years old. Mrs. Torres married young, so she isn'tthat old now, probably only two or three years older than you.

“I noticed a sparkle in Mrs. Torres’s eyes when she was looking atDuncan. She might have feelings for him. Of course, this is just myguess. I might be overly sensitive.

“You're not in Wiltspoon now, and you can't leave Jensburg freelybecause of your work there. If Mrs. Torres truly likes Duncan, I'mworried he might be taken away because you aren't here.”

Serenity was anxious about her sister's happiness being ruined bysomeone else.

Her sister had gone through a lot.

Liberty's first marriage had ended in a divorce.

It had taken a lot of her to decide to get married again.

Duncan was a reliable man that Liberty could count on. He treatsSonny very well like his own.

Serenity knew she could rest assured if Duncan took care of Libertyand Sonny.

Liberty was surprised.

She did not expect Serenity to tell her something like that.

She said, “Duncan's background and personal assets are impressive.I'm not surprised that someone likes him.

“However, I trust Duncan. He'll never betray me.”

Liberty said confidently, “If he gets snatched away by someone else, itmeans he's not my true love. I'm better off letting him go. Initially, Ididn't want to remarry. I only became open to it again because ofDuncan.”

If another woman managed to snatch Duncan away, Liberty would notconsider marriage ever again.

If even Duncan was not trustworthy, who else could she trust?

The hurt from her previous marriage still lived in her. It was Duncan'ssincere love that touched her heart and made her willing to commit toanother marriage.

Hence, if Duncan did not marry her, she would not consider anyoneelse.

Liberty would earn money to raise and nurture Sonny herself. Shewould finally rest after he formed his family.

While still able, she would travel the world, admire scenic landmarks, and try various cuisines.
