After dinner, Zachary sent Serenity and Sonny home with his bodyguard while he continuedworking.
Once they got home, Sonny practiced the piano and then his drawing, while Serenity sat on thesofa flipping through a magazine about jewelry.
She and her partners were planning to start a jewelry business.
Jane had started one too, and it was already turning a profit. Her mother was helping her designmost of it.
Serenity did not know how to design jewelry, but Elisa did.
Elisa mentioned that she wanted to design her own jewelry and open her own store.

She hurriedly picked up. “Hey, are you done with work?”
“Yeah, I managed to close the deal. We’re signing the agreement tomorrow and I just finishedtreating them to a meal. I’m back at the office now and have a bit of time, so I get to call you.”
Serenity’s heart ached for Liberty. “Don’t overwork yourself, and rest when you can.”
“I know, I normally go home by half-past ten at night.”

Liberty laughed. “I appreciate Caroline very much. If it weren’t for our elders’ grudges, we’dprobably be good friends.
“Oh, though she’s technically our elder.”
Serenity was silent for a moment before she said, “We might actually keep having a hostilerelationship with her unless she gives up and leaves Fisher Enterprise.”
She had a good impression of Caroline too.
It was true that Caroline was Belinda’s biological daughter, but her values and ways of doing thingswere completely different from her mother’s.
