Chapter 3139

Tania had never paid attention to how big Serenity’s company had gotten. All she knew was that thecompany started turning a profit long ago and partnering with many major hotels, schools, andcompanies.

She knew that Serenity valued the quality of the vegetables the most and used farmyard fertilizerwhere she could. She bought the fertilizer wherever she found it and used as little pesticides aspossible. If she could avoid using them, she would. Every manager she employed to run her farmshad more than a decade of relevant experience.

Serenity said that she wanted to provide vegetables to school cafeterias because students were thefuture of the country. For that reason, she would not harm them just for the sake of profits andwanted to ensure they could eat with peace of mind.

Whenever she visited one of her farms, she would take some vegetables home to consume.

From farm to table, these vegetables are served at her home and the cafeterias at the company andfarms. Nobody would haphazardly shower the vegetables with pesticide when they were going toconsume them themselves.

They were exceedingly careful about it.

Although this meant the fresh produce would not grow fast, Serenity and her partners were richenough to rent more land to cultivate more produce and varieties to manage supply.

Now that both Serenity and Jasmine were pregnant, it was not convenient for them to travel, thoughmainly because their husbands could not bear to see them do so.

Although Elisa was good at closing deals, she was, after all, a rich socialite. She did not have thesame level of understanding of farms and fresh produce like Serenity.

Her main responsibility was to close deals.

That was why they simply retained the status quo to maintain normal operations.

However, Elisa had begun to look for farmland. She would discuss it with her partners, and thenSerenity would make the time to visit the site together before they signed the tenancy agreement. They would then build the new farm and begin growing.

As the farms were all based on rented land and were not feasible to keep up in the long term, thethree partners agreed to use the profits from their company to invest in other businesses.

That way, once the produce company had to close its doors, they still had other businesses andprojects to focus on investing in.

“You’re right. Serenity is a first-generation entrepreneur while Isabella is old money who inheritedher family’s business. They’re not the same. Serenity has to manage the family’s numerous othersmall businesses too, and will only get stronger through experience.” Tania was a little more at easeafter her husband comforted her and was not that worried about Isabella bullying Serenity anymore.

Austin and Zachary were close-knit, so their wives would probably get along well in the future too.

She trusted Grandma May’s eye for people.

After comforting herself, Tania said, “We should give Serenity a little more of our personal assets.Zack’s our eldest and Seren is his wife, after all. In the olden days, the eldest always inherited mostof it.”

Liam laughed. “Our assets are ours. The kids won’t have any objections no matter how we divide it.I’m just worried that—”

“About what? That Austin and the rest would object?”novelbin

Liam continued, “I’m worried that none of our sons will want our assets. Our daughters-in-law aren’tlayabouts either. They’re women with a modern mindset, ladies who can earn their own money andhave a sense of responsibility. They’ve probably never even given our assets a single thought.”

Other parents might worry about their kids constantly eyeing their assets, whereas the elders of theYork family never had to and instead worried about the opposite.

“Out of all the boys, only Rowan is still underage. He doesn’t need money either and has a passiveincome. He gives part of the money he gets during the year to his brothers to help him invest. Hemight be the youngest, but he’s got quite a lot to his name already.”
