Chapter 3125

Zachary laughed. “Then I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you’ll bring Ms. O’Connor back tomeet us soon.”

Austin grimaced. “It’s still too early to say that. Anyway, I’ll still be spending this holiday seasonsingle.”

“Christmas is right around the corner. I definitely don’t expect you to get a girlfriend before the yearends. It’ll be great if you do next year though. Even Dylan and Peter haven’t gotten girlfriends thisyear either.”

Dylan kept everything about his pursuit tightly under wraps. Even Zachary knew little about it.novelbin

Of course, it was also because Zachary did not want to meddle in their private affairs.

He said before that unless they needed something or shared with him of their own volition, he wouldnot stick his nose into their personal lives.

He was not Josh, whose entire job involved being nosy. Josh was the right person if you’re lookingfor the hottest tea.

“I’m busy, so I won’t disturb you any longer. Call us if you need anything. By the way, have you letMom and Dad know you’ve arrived safely?”

Zachary reminded Austin to call their parents.

If they had not known that Austin was there to pursue his future wife too, it was very unlikely theywould have agreed to let him go to Satbury.

Even now, they still occasionally grumbled that Grandma May had chosen someone too far awayfrom Wiltspoon for Austin.

“I told Mom the moment I got off the plane. Once I pass the second round, I’ll call her again. Go andwork then. I can manage on my own, you know. I’m not a three-year-old kid anymore. I’m already inmy mid-twenties.”

As Zachary’s younger brother, Austin had always enjoyed extra special care.

Although Zachary gave him personal space, Austin still felt that in Zachary’s eyes, he was still a kid.

Zachary chuckled. “I know you’re not a kid and are a big boy now. I don’t know when you’ve grownso much. Alright, you should rest. I’m really going to do my work now.”

Zachary hung up.

He was very busy. He did his best to finish his work during the day to at least spend a bit of timewith his pregnant wife, but as the CEO of York Corporation, work was never-ending even withoutsparing a second idle.

He could only do his best to go home as early as possible.

It was pretty decent if he could get home by ten at night. Before he got married, he usually only gothome way past midnight.

He remembered when they first got married, when Serenity thought he was not coming home soshe deadbolted the door and ended up locking him out.

After Zachary hung up, Austin continued savoring his tea leisurely as he planned what he was goingto do.

Grandma May usually gave her grandsons a year’s limit.

He was in no rush.

Cooking was more important than this.

Getting hired by the O’Connors was just a challenge to him.

Although the O’Connor family’s private chefs rarely lasted long, Austin was not planning to do it forlong either—maybe just a year and a half. He did not want to be trapped there.

He wanted to travel the world, try more delicious food, and learn to cook more cuisines.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

Austin sat up and placed his teacup on the coffee table as he looked toward the door.

He just arrived today and did not know anybody here.

Who would be knocking on his door?

Was it a hotel employee?

“Who is it?” Austin asked.
