Chapter 3119

Adrian could not change Belinda’s mind once she had decided. All he could say was, “Mom, we’lltake good care of Dad. It’s just that… you won’t have a companion when you’re upset if you andDad live separately.”

Belinda said indifferently, “That’s my problem and I’ll handle it myself. You don’t have to worry aboutthat. All you need to do is to take good care of your father and do your duty.”

She hung up immediately after.

Meanwhile, in Satbury, a tall, suited young woman with long hair coiled into a bun stood by thewindow looking out at the gloomy sky in the president’s office on the top floor of a thirty-eight-storyhigh building.

Her stomach suddenly growled.

This vexed her a little as she had not eaten well at lunch.

It was not that the food was not good, but she was tired of eating the same cooking and wanted achange of pace.

However, she had yet to find a new chef who could satisfy her palate.

She was famous for being a culinary snob in Satbury.

People went as far as to say that a cook would be good enough to earn a place in a five-star hotel ifshe took two bites of their dish. When they could make her eat a full-course meal, it would be a bigdeal. They would be hired as her private chef with an excellent remuneration package.

They added that if one could last for a whole month, they could buy a house in a good location inSatbury, with cash.

It was obvious how highly paid her private chefs were.

Recently, the O’Connors were hiring once more, but there were only a few applicants. Though theymanaged to pass the butler’s interview stage, nothing came to fruition after she tried their dishes—they did not taste good to her.

There was a knock on the door.

The person outside did not wait for a response from Isabella to come in.novelbin

“Isa.”

A young and pretty girl came in. It was Isabella’s cousin, Tati O’Connor.

She was carrying an exquisite bag. She placed it on Isabella’s desk before walking around it tostand behind her, asking in concern, “Is something on your mind?”

The boys were still too young to take over the family business, so it was all being managed byIsabella. Tati and her other cousins assisted her, but Isabella was still very busy. She was aworkaholic who hated wasting even a second.

If anyone wasted her time, her temper would show itself.

That was why Tati posed the question when she saw Isabella standing by the window.
