Chapter 2969

Austin blushed.

Upon seeing his reaction, Serenity understood everything.

She asked curiously, “What’s her name? Where is she from?”

Austin looked toward the house. After ensuring that his parents would not walk out, he answered,

“She’s from Satbury, located within Windermere. Her last name is O’Connor.”

“Windermere is so far.”

Serenity was stunned that Grandma May would choose a granddaughter-in-law from such a far place.

Windermere…

“Is Satbury far from Havenmill?”

“They’re neighboring cities located not too far from each other.”

Austin was puzzled. “Why did you mention Havenmill? Do you have friends from there?”

Serenity replied, “No. My best friend is Jasmine. I don’t have any friends in Havenmill. I just recalled

someone saying that there’s a family in Havenmill that has a long history.”

Austin said, “I’m not sure about that. I can look for information on that family from Havenmill after I

arrive in Satbury.”

“Have you met Ms. O’Connor before?” Serenity asked.

Austin shook his head. “Nana only gave us photos. She wouldn’t arrange meetings for us. If we want to

meet the girls in person, we have to take action ourselves.

“Aside from a photo of Ms. O’Connor, there are a few notes in the information Nana gave me. It says

that she’s a food lover but very picky. The chefs working for her family can never satisfy her palate.

“Her family is hiring chefs now. I’m going to give it a shot.”

Austin thought his nana’s choice was right up his alley.

Since Ms. O’Connor was a picky food lover, he would have the opportunity to show off his culinary

skills.

A way to a person’s heart was through their stomach; once she was captivated, she could never

escape him.

“Go for it. Tania mentioned that among all the brothers, you love cooking the most. Your business is

also related to the F&B industry. I believe you can get the private chef job.”

Serenity encouraged Austin, confident that he would get hired.

Even Zachary could likely get the job with his cooking skills, let alone Austin, who enjoyed cooking the

most.

Among the nine young lads of the Yorks, the only one who was slightly bad at cooking was Rowan.

No matter how particular Grandma May was, she would not distract Rowan from his studies.

“I love cooking. I’ve researched recipes for various cuisines, but I’m still not as good as Kevin.” New

Austin was worried that he might not get the job.

“Putting all your effort into something you enjoy will give you the best results. Believe in yourself,

Austin.”
