Chapter 2839

Walter was passing the phone to his wife. Stacy looked at the phone and said, “That rascal already

hung up.”

“How dare he end my call?”

Walter was furious when he saw the ended call.

He sighed. “This rascal is really making us worry. He didn’t like any of the blind dates we set up for him

in the past. Now that there’s someone who can save him, he becomes hesitant and isn’t his usual

decisive self.

“How hard is it to confess, propose, get married, and have a child?” Walter muttered.

They were truly more worried than Julian himself.

Stacy said, “Julian doesn’t have any dating experience. He’s different from other people and is just

exploring things now. Anyway, there won’t be other men around Quinn because Julian’s there in

Summervale. Don’t worry.

“Marriage is forever. It shouldn’t be rushed. It takes two to tango, especially in a marriage. We can’t

force Quinn to marry Julian with our family’s influence. If that happens, we’ll become the Crawfords’

enemies instead of in-laws.”

The Crawfords were inferior to the Buchams, but their gym had been established in Summervale for

many years. Many students learned from them, and some even grew to be influential individuals

afterward. If the two families became enemies, no one would benefit from it.

Moreover, they could not offend the Crawfords because Quinn was the only one for Julian whereasnovelbin

Julian was not hers and she could marry anyone else.

“Should we go over, Walter?”

Walter looked at Stacy and said, “Julian hasn’t even confessed. We can’t do anything aside from

pretending to be on a trip.”

“We can act like we’re traveling and show ourselves before the Crawfords. We should let them know

that we’re nice people. That should give Julian some advantage. After all, Julian is still much older

compared to Quinn.”

They would also be hesitant if they had a daughter Quinn’s age who was getting married to a thirty-five-

year-old man

“You’re right. Let’s go to Summervale with the gifts then. Isn’t Julian brazenly living with the Crawfords?

As his parents, we should thank them. He’s probably not paying them rent. If so, giving them some

presents won’t seem too out of the blue.”

Stacy nodded. “Okay. I’ll choose some gifts that aren’t overly expensive. Let’s go to Summervale.”

The Crawfords would most likely not accept gifts that were too valuable.

After hanging up, Julian leaned against his chair and swiveled in it. He was thinking of confessing to

Quinn. He liked her and did not want to be a brother figure to her.

He wanted to be her husband.

Would she accept him if he confessed?

At that moment, Julian’s phone rang again.

He thought it was his father again and quickly sat up straight. When he saw Quinn’s name on the caller

ID, a smile appeared on his face right away even though she could not see it. Read at

“Quinn.”

“Did you sign a good deal? You sound happy.”
