Julian had fallen deeply in love with Quinn after getting to know her. He did not want to scare her.

“When can your mom and I go over to meet the Crawfords? We’ve even shopped for gifts several

Walter scolded, “How long has it been? Why haven’t you confessed to her? Does she have someone
she likes, or did you chicken out?”
“It hasn’t been that long, Dad. I haven’t even been in Summervale for a full month yet. Quinn treats me
like a brother, which makes it difficult for me to confess. I don’t dare to do it either. I feel like we should
spend more time together before I profess.”
Walter was exasperated. “Where are your guts? I guess even you can be scared sometimes. What a
