Jane and her family would be taking a private plane back to Annenburg in the evening.
As the person in charge of FC & Co., Ben was busy.
“I slept late and am still feeling tired now. I’m okay. Don’t worry about me. I’ll get more sleep.”
Liberty was feeling down, and her head hurt. After reassuring Serenity and telling her not to worry,
Liberty was going to continue resting.
“Let me know immediately if anything happens, okay?”
“Don’t you trust me? Just be careful during your pregnancy, focus on your work, and help me take care
of Sonny. Don’t worry about me. I’ve been through a lot. Go on with your work.”
After a moment of silence, Serenity said, “Sonny and I will be waiting for you at home, Liberty.”
Liberty smiled. “I’ll finish the task Aunt Audrey gave me as soon as possible and reunite with you all asnovelbin
soon as possible. I’ll surely be back when your baby is born.”
She would definitely rush back when her only sister was giving birth.
She was her sister’s only family.
“I’ll only be giving birth next year. My baby bump isn’t even showing yet.”
Jasmine already had a baby bump.
Liberty smiled. “It’ll appear in about two months. Be careful when you’re back to work. Just rest at
home if there’s nothing urgent. You have two partners managing the company. Elisa can handle it now.
You and Jasmine should focus on your pregnancies.”
“I haven’t reached the stage when it’s inconvenient for me to move around. I should do something. It’s
boring to stay at home every day anyway. Being bored annoys me, and feeling annoyed will affect my
mood during pregnancy. It’s bad for the baby.”
Zachary knew Serenity well. That was why he never insisted that she stay home during the pregnancy.
She could start resting at home during the later stages.
Many women continued working until they were eight months long.
“Okay. I know I can’t convince you. It’s fine as long as you’re happy. Just take care of your health and
don’t overwork yourself. If Zachary doesn’t scold you for overworking, I’ll do it.”
“Are you still going to scold me when I’m tired?”
“Yes. Your situation is different from mine back then. You have the means to rest at home when you’re
pregnant, yet you insist on tiring yourself out. You deserve a scolding if that happens.”
Serenity muttered something, but Liberty did not catch it.
“Where’s Sonny?”
“He’s playing with Laurence outside. They played energetically all day and were out like a light once
they hit the sack. The next morning, Sonny even woke up early without me waking him.”
Liberty was speechless. “That kid. He’ll wake up early on days he doesn’t have to go to school but
insists on sleeping in when he needs to. Waking him up takes quite some time.
“Seren, you must be stricter with Sonny when I’m not around. Don’t spoil him. He has too many people
spoiling him. If no one educates him, he’ll be spoiled rotten.”
“Don’t worry. I want the best for Sonny too. I won’t let him become a pampered brat.
“Should I put him on the phone?”
After thinking about it, Liberty said, “Let him play. It’ll be the weekend soon, and Duncan may come
over. If he does, tell him to bring Sonny here so I can spend the weekend with Sonny.”
“Is Duncan going to Jensburg?”
“He said he misses me and wants to visit me. I can’t stop him since I’m not in Wiltspoon. I decided to
let him be.”
Serenity laughed. “Although Duncan is in Wiltspoon, his heart is with you in Jensburg. Liberty, he’s
really nice to you. Don’t let him wait too long. I think you can achieve lifelong happiness with him.”
Duncan was undoubtedly many times better than Hank.
“I’m not letting him wait. He’s the one making me wait now.”
Liberty admitted that she had feelings for Duncan.
They had spent a lot of time together. Even the most cold-blooded person would have developed
feelings by now.
