Chapter 2686

Besides, Sonny had his strengths.

He was better at reading and writing than Laurence. Although Laurence could read, he could not write

well whereas Sonny was a good writer. He was one of the best among children his age. Uncle Zak told

him that when he showered him with compliments.

Uncle Zak would not lie to him; he was a husband and a CEO, so he would always speak the truth.

With those thoughts, Sonny stopped pouting and pulled Laurence. “Let’s go and get something to eat.

I’m hungry.”

“I’m hungry too.”

The boys happily hopped back into the house.

At the Newmans, Carrie stood far away from the villa’s gate and dialed Trenton’s number continuously.

After some time, Trenton came out.

When Carrie saw him, she walked over with a dark expression and slapped him across his face.

It was resounding.

Trenton did not expect his sister to slap him the moment he went to her. He thought she had specially

come to see him because she knew he was returning to his university.

The slap caught him off guard.

“Carrie…”

Trenton touched his cheek that was slapped and growled, “Why did you hit me?”

Carrie pointed at him and scolded, “Don’t call me like that. Do you still think of me as your sister?

You’ve always preferred Camryn over me since you were young. Not only we weren’t close, but you

even joined hands with Camryn to target me. Trenton, why are you siding with outsiders?

“I’m your biological sister. Camryn is nothing. She’s just your cousin.”

Trenton retorted, “If Camryn is nothing, then who do you think you are? Mom and Dad have spoiled

you so much that you’ve become arrogant.

“Camryn may be my cousin, but she’s also my sister. We have the same mother. She’ll always be a

sister to me.”novelbin

Carrie was so furious that she was about to slap him again.

Trenton was prepared. She was not able to hit him.

He grabbed her wrist and flung it away. Then, he stepped back and put some distance between them.

Carrie was always hurting people unreasonably.

It was all because their mother had pampered her.

Carrie was truly a spoiled brat. Although Trenton was Paige and Cain’s only son, they gave Carrie

preferential treatment instead, which caused her more harm than good.

She turned into someone unreasonable and stubborn. To top that, she was not capable and even lost

her backing after their parents had gone to jail. Carrie was insignificant to the elite circle of Wiltspoon.

“How dare you push me, Trenton? I’m your sister.”

“Then do I just let you slap me again?” Trenton retorted exasperatedly.

He was not a fool to stand still and let Carrie hit him again.
