Chapter 2673

Soon, Liberty drove out of the underground parking lot.

Following the address Mr. Fletcher provided, she navigated her way there.

Duncan called.

Liberty slowed down before answering the call.

“Duncan, I’m out to buy something. I’m driving now. I’ll call you back when I return.”

Duncan acknowledged with a sound and reminded her, “Drive safely.”

“I will.”

Liberty did not drive like her sister; she was not fond of speeding.

Thankfully, they lived in a city where traffic was heavy. Serenity could not speed, so she drove

diligently. She would drive like an F1 driver if they were in the suburbs with light traffic. Unfortunately,

Zachary had not witnessed Serenity’s driving style, or else he would not have let Serenity behind the

wheel.

Duncan did not want to disturb Liberty while she was driving. He quickly ended the call.

If he knew that Liberty was driving alone in her disguise to meet Caroline, he might worry and rush over

on the next flight.

Liberty knew he cared about her, so she preferred not to let him know.

The address given by Darren was not in the city center but rather remote. The navigation showed it

would take over an hour to reach.

As Liberty left the hotel driving, Caroline asked Darren, “Did you see Liberty come out?”

Darren replied, “I had someone deliver a note to her. She should be coming for the appointment.”

“She just arrived from Wiltspoon, unfamiliar with the place, and without her own vehicle. I suppose she

might take a taxi. Ms. Caroline, you can set off, and I believe Ms. Liberty will come for the

appointment.”

Having met Liberty and dealt with her, Darren thought Liberty was bold and meticulous. When she

arrived in Jensburg, claiming her detachment from the Fisher family’s affairs, few believed her.

Since she was coming to face the Fisher family, she would definitely come if Caroline invited her for a

meeting.

“The men that I had you arrange to protect her in the shadows, did they not see her leaving the hotel?”

Caroline questioned.

Darren answered, “I assigned some men to keep watch at the hotel entrance. If she were to exit the

hotel, they would follow her. Don’t worry, I will make a call to check first.”

With that, Darren ended the call with Caroline and called his subordinates.

A few minutes later, he called Caroline again. “Ms. Caroline, my men said that they did not see Ms.

Liberty leave the hotel.”

After a brief silence, Caroline said, “Continue watching, I’ll head over now. Liberty might have snuck out

wearing a disguise.”

Liberty was not dumb. On the contrary, she was quite clever. It was just that her failed marriage

disconnected her from society, making her feel like she had lost her wings. After the divorce, she

managed to make a place for herself within a year.

She would not go out if she knew that she was in danger.

Caroline had guessed that Liberty was wearing a disguise. Having only seen Liberty in pictures, if she

were to disguise herself, Caroline naturally would not be able to recognize Liberty.

Darren asked concernedly, “Do you need me to accompany you?”

“There’s no need. I’ll be in disguise too.”

Caroline did not allow Darren or her bodyguards to follow her. Her bodyguards were assigned to her bynovelbin

her mother. They were responsible for Caroline’s safety, but their loyalty remained with Belinda. She

could not bring the bodyguards along if she wanted to meet up with Liberty.

She even snuck out of her office while leaving the lights in her office on and the doors closed, creating

the illusion that she was still working overtime in her office.
