Chapter 2655

Being small with limited strength, Sonny wanted to help but he could only push the wheelchair and not

support Duncan to walk.

The little guy stayed quiet seeing that neither his aunt nor his uncle made a move. When he saw

Duncan sitting down, he suddenly clapped his hands while praising him, “Dunc is amazing, Dunc can

walk by himself. Dunc is amazing!”novelbin

The preschool teachers often taught him to praise those who do well and criticize those who do not.

Duncan did well, and he deserved some praise.

The three adults were amused by Sonny’s actions.

“Duncan, the food is still warm. Quickly eat. After you finish, we can chat,” Zachary said.

“Yes, yes, Dunc, hurry up and eat. I promised Charmaine that I would coax you to open the door and

eat. If you don’t eat, I’ll break my promise,” Sonny said as he walked to Duncan and sat beside him.

Duncan felt warmth in his heart. He suddenly hugged Sonny, kissing the little guy on the cheek, saying,

“Not in vain for me to treat you well all these while.”

“Dunc, eat now.”

Today, Duncan had kept himself locked in the room, not opening the door or eating, worrying those who

cared about him.

Duncan picked up the plate and began eating.

He asked Sonny if he wanted to eat, but the little guy patted his own tummy, saying, “Dunc, look at my

belly. I ate so much at Aunt’s house that my belly is round. I really can’t eat anymore. Dunc, you eat by

yourself.”

Duncan looked at the round belly.

He chuckled. “You also don’t eat too much.”

“I know. I won’t overeat. Uncle Zak is monitoring me and Aunt Seren, not letting us eat too much. Aunt

Seren even said that she couldn’t enjoy eating when Uncle Zak was around. She said when Uncle Zak

would go to work, she would bring me to Jazz’s house to eat to our heart’s desire.”

Serenity muttered, “Sonny, when have I ever said such things?”

The little fella betrayed her!

She even told him to keep it a secret from Zachary, yet he blurted out every detail in front of Zachary.

Sonny promptly covered his mouth. “Oops! Aunt Seren told me not to say it out loud. What should I do?

I’ve spilled it. Uncle Zak, Dunc, pretend I didn't say anything.

“Aunt Seren said it. As for when I do not know because I can’t tell the time, but I was sure my ears

heard Aunt Seren’s words loud and clear. I’m an honest boy, I don’t lie.”

Serenity was left speechless.

She looked at her nephew, then turned her gaze to the man beside her. She said, “Honey, I was just

kidding with Sonny. I won’t go out alone to indulge in food. If there’s anything fancy I would like to eat,

I’ll definitely go with you.”

Zachary did not get angry. Instead, he said amusingly, “You’re becoming a mother soon, yet you still act

like a child. If there’s anything you would like to eat, just ask me. When have I let you down? I’m only

asking you not to overeat so you won’t burden your stomach.

“Everyone said that pregnant women get hungry easily. However, you should eat more frequently with

smaller portions, not eat vehemently all at once.

“You even scolded Sonny for overeating. You don’t even practice what you preach.”

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Serenity said, “I was just simply saying, but Sonny took it seriously.”
