Chapter 2651

Liberty sighed. “Sometimes, he acts like a child.”

The impact of the car accident was significant on Duncan.

If it were not for his deep love for Liberty, he might have given up on himself, finding it difficult to stand

up again.

“I’ll talk to Zack later and ask him to visit him.”

“I’ll bring Sonny to see him. He loves Sonny the most. When he sees Sonny, he’ll understand that

you’re not blaming him.”

“He knows I don’t blame him. I never have. It’s just that he feels useless. After such a long time of

rehabilitation, he still can’t walk like a normal person. He scolds himself for being useless and even

beats his own legs.

“In fact, he has made great progress. Most people in his condition would take more than half a year to

stand up, but he was able to do so and even walked a few steps a long time ago.”

Duncan was severely injured in both legs and although he persisted in rehabilitation, he could not

recover instantly.

The doctor said he had a chance to walk normally as long as he continued with the rehabilitation.

“Don’t worry. We’ll go and comfort Duncan. Be careful when you go to Jensburg. The rest is secondary;

safety is the priority. Madam Fisher is ruthless. She won’t openly do anything to you, but who knows

what he might do behind the scenes?”

She took out her phone and sent Liberty Kevin’s and Hayden’s contact numbers via WhatsApp. “Save

Kevin’s and Hayden’s numbers. If anything happens, you can contact them.”

“Hayden is a local in Jensburg, and the Queen family is one of the top families there. She can be a

great help to you.

“If I weren’t pregnant, I’d want to go with you.”

While saving the contacts Liberty said, “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. I’m just going there to explore and

expand my business, not to confront Madam Fisher head-on.”

“I’ll tell Zack and ask him to arrange two bodyguards to go with you.”

Liberty chuckled. “There’s no need for that. He had already arranged it. He’ll have Jim and Milo follow

me to Jensburg. I am familiar with both of them.”

Jim used to often help Zachary act in front of Serenity. Of all the bodyguards by Zachary's side, Jim

was the one that Serenity and Liberty were most familiar with.

Milo, on the other hand, was later assigned to be Serenity’s bodyguard. Since he was her sister’s

bodyguard, Liberty could often meet him and thus was also familiar with him.

Zachary assured that these two bodyguards were competent and reliable. He felt reassured by letting

them accompany Liberty to Jensburg.

“Seren, Zachary is truly a fine man. He gives his all to you and loves everything about you. Both Sonny

and I are fortunate because of you. Treat Zachary well, don't act out just because you're pregnant.

Also, don't take advantage of my absence to bully Zachary. ”

Serenity replied, “I know, I won’t. I’ll definitely not bully him. I will also give my all to him. Don’t you

worry, I won’t let your brother-in-law suffer one bit.”

Other families were usually worried that their daughters might be mistreated by their in-laws but here

her sister was afraid that she might mistreat Zachary instead.novelbin

That man just liked to complain about her to Liberty.

Every time there was a minor disagreement between them, he would complain to Liberty.

To be fair, she was also in the wrong. It was because she continued making those mistakes that he

would always complain to her sister.

After all, Serenity was a little afraid of Liberty.

“If I were to hear Zachary complain about you mistreating him, I would personally teach you a lesson

when I come home.” Liberty tried to intimidate Serenity but her face was full of smiles.

Serenity tugged on Liberty and said playfully, “Come on! You’re my sister, how could you always side

with Zachary? People usually worry about their sister being mistreated, not the other way round.

Besides, how could I possibly bully him? I can’t even do a thing to leave a scratch on him!

“The only way I have the upper hand is through arguments; he can’t beat me in arguments. However,

he rarely argues with me because he knows he’ll never win. At most, he’ll sulk for the whole day, slam

the door, and give me the silent treatment.”

“That's all in the past; why bring it up now? Zachary cherishes you a lot more now.”
