Glenn wanted to take Caroline on a drive. He never asked where she wanted to go.
He simply drove without having a destination in mind.
When Caroline finished the ice cream, she said, “My dad set me up with a pervert. I saw Marcus in the
lift lobby. He stopped me and tried to make a move on me. I knocked him to the ground with the moves
you taught me and kicked him.
“I guess he’ll never mess with me again.”
Glenn was an all-rounder. He was skilled in self-defense too.
Although Caroline knew how to fight, she learned it from actual fights and never had proper lessons.
Her adoptive parents were terrible to her. They would never fork out money to let her learn martial arts.
