Chapter 2479

After writing the prescription, Lilian passed it to Callum and said, “Do you still have the medicine I sent

over previously? Get these newly prescribed ones and let Camryn have them with the previous

medications.

“I’ll examine her again when she’s done with the new prescription. Bring her out on strolls more often if

you have time.”

“Thank you, Dr. Carden,” Callum said earnestly.

He would prepare Camryn’s medicine personally every day to ensure they were the right ones and had

not been tampered with. Lilian teased Camryn about this before. Callum was the most attentive

caregiver she had ever seen throughout her practice. She said Camryn would definitely have the

sweetest and happiest life in the future.

Spring finally arrived for Camryn when she met Callum as her life before him had been an endless,

brutal winter.

Although she received Dalton’s help later on, she had suffered a lot and was even abused when she

was young.

“The eye wash solution is running out, Dr. Carden. Does Camryn have to continue cleansing her

eyes?”

The eye wash solution was personally formulated by Lilian and not something available over the

counter.

That was why Callum wanted to replenish his supply from Lilian.

“She doesn’t have to cleanse her eyes with the solution anymore. Just make sure she takes her

medicine and goes for more walks outside. She should be able to regain normal sight soon.

“By the way, Camryn, did you have short-sightedness before this? If you did, you won’t be able to gain

20/20 vision once you’re healed.”

Camryn shook her head. “I didn’t have short-sightedness.”

Lilian smiled. “That’s great. I’ll check up on you again another day. Have you two settled on a wedding

date yet?”

It would be best if Camryn could recover fully before she and Callum tied the knot.

“We did, but we aren’t planning to have children so soon. We want to spend some quality time together

as a couple and wait for Camryn to recover before thinking about kids,” Callum answered.

His parents wished to have grandchildren soon, but Camryn’s health was of utmost priority. Everythingnovelbin

else could wait.

Even Zachary and Serenity only got pregnant after being married for a year.

In truth though, Serenity and Zachary had never taken any contraceptive measures. They simply could

not get pregnant back then, which made their situation different from Callum and Camryn’s.

Lilian nodded. “That’s fine. Camryn should be able to get better after recuperating for a year or two.”

Camryn was shocked. “Does it take that long?”

She thought taking a few doses of medication would do the trick.

Lilian said, “Your body isn’t in the best condition. It is only because I’m the one treating that you can

build your fertility in one to two years. If it were other gynecologists, it would take three to five years to

regain your health.

“Your mother is a terrible person.”

Lilian knew the culprit behind Camryn’s poor health was Paige Newman.

Camryn was lucky to have been chosen by Old Mrs. York, which led her to Lilian when she became

Callum’s fiancée. Otherwise, she would face difficulties getting pregnant and require long years of

treatment.

Paige was truly a vicious woman to even bear to harm her own daughter. Not only did she hurt

Camryn’s eyes, but she almost ruined Camryn’s future as well.
