Chapter 2477

Carrie thought, ‘I’ll have all the money I need after taking back what’s mine. Do I even need Mrs.

Clark’s money?’

Nevertheless, she hated Serenity and wished to see her suffer.

Anyway, someone was willing to deal with Serenity now and Carrie simply had to gather some

information without even needing to meet Serenity in person. She found it doable.

Carrie said, “I’ll prove myself, but I was just released. My phone and bank cards are probably with

Camryn now. We’ve been enemies ever since I can remember. She’ll never return those things to me. I

need some money to work around.”

Mrs. Clark handed a bank card to Carrie and said, “Of course. Here’s thirty thousand dollars for you to

spend.

“If you’re truly capable, you can go to the Newmans’ villa to take back what’s rightfully yours after this.

Even if you fail, try getting your phone and bank card at least.”

Carrie accepted the card and asked, “What’s the PIN?”

“Six eights.”

Carrie pocketed the bank card.

Mrs. Clark was stingy for only giving her that amount of money.

Still, it was better than nothing.

Being fresh out of jail, Carrie was penniless. The money could solve her temporary issues.

She could have all the money she wanted after recovering her family assets; no idea as to how much

they were worth, but surely more than hundreds of millions.

Anyway, she had never lacked money and could buy whatever she desired ever since she was young.

On the other hand, Camryn lived a life akin to a servant’s. She had to work in order to have food.

“This is my contact number.”

Mrs. Clark gave Carrie a business card. There was nothing printed on it aside from her number, which

she had just recently acquired.

She added, “Keep this number to yourself. I’m using it to contact you. No one else knows of this

number besides us.”

Carrie agreed. “Okay. I won’t be as naive as I was before.”

Her parents’ love made her arrogant. Before meeting Serenity and Elisa, she had always thought no

one in Wiltspoon would dare offend her. She could treat Camryn however she wanted, and no one

would dare help Camryn.

Although she did not gain any advantage from bullying Camryn, at least nobody was a busybody like

Serenity, who had the nerve to help Camryn.

Now that her parents were not by her side, she had a score to settle with Serenity. After maturing, shenovelbin

knew things were vastly different from before. She had become the laughingstock of Wiltspoon after

having spent time behind bars.

At that moment, the food was served.

Mrs. Clark told Carrie, “Dig in, Ms. Carrie.”

Carrie helped herself generously to the food cooked outside prison; something she had not tasted for a

long time.

Although the diner’s atmosphere could not compare to those of the restaurants she frequented, it was

far better than eating in jail.
