Chapter 2439

Meanwhile, Julian, who had never let alcohol get to him, got wasted for once and he did it at Zachary’s

wedding. He was now at Wiltspoon Hotel.

It was good liquor.

Julian was having the time of his life with Quinn by his side, so he drank a lot.

He kept talking about how great the alcohol was while drinking.

The strong liquor packed a punch, and he ended up intoxicated.

He opened his eyes, but he had to close them due to his headache.

Julian had not had enough sleep. His head would not hurt if he slept longer.

Soon, Julian opened his eyes again.

He realized he was lying in an unfamiliar room.

Where was he?

He was not at his family home or his villa.

Julian hoped nobody had picked him up from the streets and had their way with him after he passed

out drunk.

The scenario was unlikely.

He was drinking at Wildridge Manor. Nobody would have the guts to do that even if he was drunk

unless they wanted to cross him.

Ignoring his throbbing head, Julian jolted up from the bed. As covers slipped off him, Julian inspected

himself and found that he was still wearing his clothes. He sighed in relief that he was not stripped

down.

The upper crust of Wiltspoon knew that he had trouble in the bedroom anyway. Nobody would take

advantage of him while he was drunk.

However, his jacket had been removed.

Julian sat up and took a good look at the room. He seemed to be in a hotel room.

He slipped out of bed and walked over to the bed to look out the window. He realized that he was at

Wiltspoon Hotel.

The hotel belonged to the Yorks.

Julian was relieved. He turned around and collapsed back into the bed, rubbing his aching temple.

Why did his head hurt so much?

He then figured that the headache came with the hangover, which made him feel like his head was

about to explode.

Ring, ring, ring…

His phone rang.

Julian felt around his pants and found his phone in his pocket. This meant that the person who had

brought him to the hotel room had only taken off his jacket and left everything else untouched. Thenovelbin

person did not help him put his phone on the bedside table.

Now that Julian was wide awake, he guessed that the person who took him to the hotel was Quinn.

She accompanied him to attend Zachary and Serenity’s wedding. Due to his instructions, everybody

could only address him as the company’s CEO instead of the heir to the family.

Quinn had no idea that Josh, whom she met last night, was his cousin.

Julian did not come face-to-face with Josh at the wedding. He stood a few feet away from Josh and

pointed him out to Quinn. He told her that Josh was an administrative executive at York Corporation.

Quinn had so many good things to say about Josh that Julian nearly got jealous.
