Chapter 2424

Hayden could never figure out Grandma May’s actions in arranging her grandsons’ marriages. It was

not Kevin’s first time explaining it to her. She could understand his words, yet she did not resonate with

the idea. It was probably because she was not part of the York family.

She also realized that Grandma May’s children never worried about their children’s marriages. It was

all handled by the old lady herself.

They simply accepted the daughter-in-law Grandma May handpicked regardless of their looks or family

background.

Perhaps they were not pressing enough, which prompted the bored Grandma May to take on the

responsibility of managing her grandsons’ marriages.

“Nana’s reputation and popularity are second to none in Wiltspoon. Even when we were rivals with the

Stone Group, they still respected Nana greatly.”

Kevin looked proud. He added, “I hope Nana can live a long life to witness all of us build our family and

the births of her great-grandchildren.

“She always says that she misses Gramps. However, Gramps had entrusted all of us to her before he

passed. She often scolds him for being irresponsible and leaving her to worry about their children and

grandchildren by herself.

“Gramps and Nana were deeply in love with each other. She’s doing all of this for his sake too. He

couldn’t stop worrying about us even before his death. That’s why Nana manages all of our marriages

in hopes that Gramps can rest in peace.

“Wildridge Manor is the home Gramps built for her.”

Hayden held Kevin’s hand. His emotions clearly changed when he talked about his grandparents. She

guessed the York brothers must have been close to their grandfather too.

Although it had been many years since Old Mr. York’s passing, they would still be saddened at the

mention of him.

Of course, Grandma May would be affected the most.

“Nana will live a long life. She’s healthy. It won’t be a problem for her to live another twenty years.”

Kevin nodded.

They walked to the main house, hand in hand.

On the way, they met Julian, who was on his way to look for Quinn.novelbin

“Mr. Bucham.”

They stopped and greeted him.

Julian glanced at their intertwined hands. He said, “Quinn lost her way. I’m going to go get her.”

Quinn got lost while strolling around Wildridge Manor alone. Although it was her second visit, the

manor was huge. Although Julian brought her around during her first visit, it was a brief tour. She could

not remember all the directions.

There were many confusing paths and similar scenery around. Those unfamiliar with the place would

easily lose their way.

Kevin smiled and said to Julian, “Please go on ahead.”

Quinn was not the first person to lose her way in Wildridge Manor, nor would she be the last.
