Chapter 2415

“How much is the fee?”

Sonny played along because it was his favorite game to play.

The boy would not say no to money.

“You can collect the fee until you are satisfied.”

“I don’t get satisfied easily.”

Elisa grinned. “It’s all up to you, Sonny. Watch the door. Call me if you need me.”

She then closed the door.

Sonny looked at Zachary and said, “Uncle Zak, I need to collect the fee until I’m satisfied before you

can see Aunt Ser.”

Zachary took a few steps forward and gave Sonny a few bills. When Sonny took the money, Zachary

picked Sonny up and said, “Sonny, I don’t want to be late to the wedding ceremony with Serenity.

You’re our page boy and ring bearer. You have to go with us too.

“You must help me. Don’t make it hard for me, okay?”

“But I like the task Aunt Elisa gave me. I want to collect the fee. Aunt Elisa said to collect until I feel

satisfied. I’m not satisfied yet.”

“Come on. Here’s my fee, Sonny.”

Julian gave Sonny some cash.

The other groomsmen did the same.

The little man was ecstatic. At the wave of his arm, he declared, “You can go in and see Aunt Ser now,

Uncle Zak.”

Sonny had forgotten that Zachary was supposed to sing a romantic song too. All he could think of was

the amount of money he received.

As Zachary had a big group of groomsmen, Sonny received a lot of money from all of them.

Zachary put Sonny down and knocked on the door.

A bridesmaid opened it, but only a crack. She looked at Zachary, then Sonny.

The boy stood in a corner, busy counting the money. Now that he had been in preschool for a while,

Sonny had learned to count.

The bridesmaid could hear Sonny counting. “One, two, three…”

Sonny sure loved money

He gave Zachary access right after he paid the toll.

The bridesmaid reached her hand out to Zachary and said with a smile, “You know what to do, Mr.

York.”

Zachary gave her a gift and she handed the gift to the person behind her.

After each and every bridesmaid had a gift in hand, the bridesmaid who opened the door said, “Mr.

York, Seren wants to hear a romantic song from you. You can make one up and sing it to us.”

Make up a song?

None of them had a talent for singing or writing a song.

As the team of groomsmen cracked their heads, Zachary sang a song he just made up.novelbin

The groomsmen were impressed with Zachary’s talent.

Once Zachary was done, the bridesmaid who opened the door turned to ask Elisa, “Can I open the

door now, Elisa?”

Elisa asked, “What is Sonny doing?”

“The boy is busy counting his money. He forgot to watch the door.”

Elisa smiled. “Open the door. I was counting on him to keep them out longer. I guess it didn’t take much

for him to let them in.”

The bridesmaid proceeded to open the door.

Zachary entered the room with his groomsmen.
