Chapter 2397

A while later, Dave answered, “Quinn is an adult. She’s free to go wherever she wants. All we are

expecting as parents is that she lets us know where she goes.

“We have no problem if she wants to go to the wedding.”

Dave was not worried about anything happening to his daughter. He was happy enough so long as his

daughter stayed out of trouble.

However, people might get the wrong idea about Quinn and Julian’s relationship if they were to attend

Zachary’s wedding together.novelbin

Quinn was twenty-four years old. His wife often nagged him about pulling Quinn into self-defense. Now,

Quinn had muscles that scared off potential suitors, and she had no takers.

Dave did not stop Quinn from attending Zachary’s wedding with Julian. It was great for his daughter to

see the world and broaden her horizons.

Julian smiled. “You’re an open-minded parent, sir.”

Dave grinned and asked Julian to enjoy the fruit and snacks.

Julian tasted the fruits and stayed away from the snacks.

A car pulled up outside and shortly after, Julian heard the voices of two men.

“Quinn, I bought you the mozzarella sticks.”

“I bought groceries for you, Mom. You said that we have a guest, so I bought a bottle of wine. Can I

enjoy a drink or two with our guest tonight?”

Quinn’s brothers walked into the house.

The man carrying the bag of mozzarella sticks was Mark while Will was the one bringing in the

groceries.

The Crawfords, except Zoey, loved their liquor. Zoey did not allow her husband and children to drink

unless they had guests.

Zoey believed drinking could lead to serious trouble. Besides, the children were instructors at the family

gym. They would not be in the capacity to teach if they were drunk all day.

Sometimes, Dave would joke to their children that Zoey kept them all on a tight leash.

Dave would also get sympathetic looks from the kids for making the comment. No one would stand up

for Dave because they did not want to cross Zoey.

Mark and Will took the things to the kitchen.

Will looked at Quinn and gave her the thumbs up. He praised, “You’re something else, Quinn. You

found your other half before you reached twenty-five. At least you don’t have to listen to Mom’s nagging

anymore.”

Zoey looked daggers at him.

Will chuckled and said, “Don’t look at me like that, Mom. It’s not that I don’t want to go on dates, but no

one wants to go on a second date with me.”

“Well, you’re one with high standards. You are so picky. Do you think that you’re all that? Look at your

hairline. You’re gaining a dad bod like a middle-aged man, and yet you can’t come down from your

expectations.”

Will touched his head and lowered his gaze to check himself out. He asked, “Quinn, do I look like a

middle-aged man? Did I gain weight? Am I balding?”

He believed he looked good.

Quinn replied with a smile, “You look fine. You’re not balding, Will. Mom is only trying to scare you. Mr.

Bucham is only here to enroll in our gym. He’s not my boyfriend. Mom got the wrong idea.”

Will and Mark exchanged glances in surprise before looking relieved.

Mark patted Quinn’s shoulder and said with a smile, “It’s okay. You’re still young. Mr. Right will come to

you soon. Will and I can take care of you if you can’t find a man.”

Will and Mark adored their only sister.

“Why are you still here? You’re occupying space, and it’s not like you’re helping. Go and spend time

with our guest,” Zoey yelled at her sons.
