Chapter 2366

Trenton walked over and glared at Callum.

Callum smiled. “Why are you back?”

Trenton was furious at him for taking advantage of Camryn. Even while blushing, he said angrily, “This

is my house. I can come back whenever I want. It’s none of your business.”

Callum did not argue with him. He knew Trenton had caught them making out and must have felt

Callum was taking advantage of Camryn.

“It’s me, Camryn.”

Trenton approached Camryn and pushed Callum aside to stand before her in the most ideal position

for her to see him clearly.

They had been siblings for seventeen years, yet ten years had passed since she last saw her brother’s

face.

He was merely a second grader when she lost her vision and in a flash, he was now a university

student.

Instead of being displeased from being pushed aside, Callum smiled. He said, “Trenton, your sister can

see in close distances now, albeit slightly blurry. Dr. Carden likened her eyesight to that of a person

with severe myopia without their glasses.

“She can only see you clearly if you scoot closer.

“By the way, what do you want to eat? I can ask the kitchen to prepare your favorite dishes.”

It was lunchtime.

Trenton ignored Callum. He stared into Camryn’s eyes and asked nervously, “Look at me. Can you see

me?”

He even touched his eyes and asked, “Did I touch my eyes or nose?”

Camryn watched her brother in silence.novelbin

Trenton’s face had all his parents’ best features. He was handsome. As Camryn resembled her mother,

she and Trenton shared some similarities too.

After a few moments, Camryn lifted her hand and touched Trenton’s face slowly. Her hands traveled

from his cheeks to his eyes, nose, then forehead. She wanted to smile, but her eyes gradually

reddened and teared up.

“Trenton…”

She choked. “It’s been ten years. Ten years. I can finally see you again. You’ve grown so tall. You’re

taller than me now.”

“Don’t cry, Camryn. Regaining your vision is a happy occasion. Dr. Carden advised you to avoid crying

while your treatment is ongoing. Otherwise, it’ll be affected,” Callum quickly reminded when he saw her

eyes turning red.

Despite saying so, he almost cried himself when Camryn could see him.

Once Trenton heard Callum’s words, he said, “Callum’s right. Don’t cry. We should be happy that you

can see again.”

He wiped Camryn’s tears as he added, “I feel at ease now that light has returned to your eyes. I’ll be

able to concentrate on my studies.”

When Camryn chose justice over family, Trenton’s parents and Carrie were imprisoned. Carrie would

be released soon, while his parents had to serve a much longer prison sentence.

His parents’ crimes had affected him greatly.

Trenton dared not mention his parents to his coursemates, fearing they would find out how evil his

parents were.

There was also a period when he could not accept Camryn’s actions. He did not hate her but could not

bring himself to face her either.

Their relationship almost fell apart.

After coming to terms with everything, only then did he reach out and called Camryn.

Trenton felt guilty because his parents were behind her blindness.

He wished for Camryn’s recovery more than anyone else. It felt like his parents’ sins could be alleviated

even slightly if her sight could be restored.
