Chapter 2365

“I see.”

Trenton was deep in thought.

After discovering what his parents had done, he had been suspicious whether the doctor in charge of

treating Camryn back then had died of natural causes. His parents could have played a part in it.

“Why did you return all of a sudden, Mr. Trenton?”

The maid found it weird. Was Trenton not supposed to be studying at the university?

It would have made sense if he returned during a long break but the break was already over.

“I requested a leave of absence because I was worried about Camryn.”

Trenton revealed that he had taken some time off his studies to come home.

“Camryn’s inside, right? I’ll go meet her.”

He was eager to meet Camryn and verify that her eyes were recovering.

“Ms. Camryn and Mr. Callum are together.”

Trenton seemed to have missed the maid’s last sentence as he had gone inside the house in a hurry.

Once he stepped inside, he saw his soon-to-be brother-in-law, Callum, entangled in a steamy kiss with

his sister.

Trenton’s face immediately turned red. He turned around swiftly as he was too embarrassed to watch

them kiss.

At the same time, he thought Callum was too wild. How could they kiss openly in the house? Camryn

would be utterly embarrassed if they were seen.

Trenton was clueless that the employees in the Newmans’ villa were already used to such scenes.

Callum would kiss and cuddle Camryn whenever he could. They were officially engaged after the

engagement party. It was natural for engaged couples to make out or even have sex. No one could

comment on that.

Nevertheless, Callum did not go all the way.

He and Camryn wished to leave their firsts for their wedding night.

Callum finally released his lover’s lips after a long kiss and Camryn leaned against his chest to catch

her breath.

Soon, he spotted Trenton, who had his back to them. He told the woman in his arms, “Camryn, I think Inovelbin

see someone who looks like Trenton. I’m unsure because he should be in school at this hour.”

Upon hearing that, Camryn pushed him away hastily and turned to look in Trenton’s direction.

After undergoing Lilian’s treatment, she could see things within close distance. Although her eyesight

was not sharp, it was way better than being able to see nothing.

However, things far away still looked like a blur to her. Lilian said Camryn’s eyesight was equivalent to

that of a person with 700 to 800 degrees myopia without their glasses.

She could see, but not clearly.

After having lived in the darkness for ten years, Trenton no longer looked like the seven-year-old in her

memories. He was the only person who treated her well and protected her.

Since Camryn had blurry vision, she could only spot someone’s silhouette from afar. She was not

familiar with the said person’s build either.

The owner of the silhouette was a total stranger to her.

“Trenton?”

Camryn could not see clearly, but she had Callum. If he said the person was Trenton, then she would

believe it.

She tried calling out to Trenton.

Only then did he turn around. His youthful face was still flushed red.
