Chapter 2297

“You’re not allowed to say you’re useless anymore. I don’t like hearing it.”

“Okay. I won’t self-deprecate anymore. I’m an outstanding man.”

Elisa said smugly, “Of course. There’s no doubt that the man I’m in love with is the best.”

They spent some time together in the office before Elisa left as she had an appointment with a client.

Remy saw her off with a longing gaze.

Seeing his reluctant look, Elisa stopped and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. She said, “I really

have to go to the appointment. I can’t miss it. I’ll pick you up from work after I’m done.

“Smile for me. I like to see you smiling. Your smile healed my broken heart.”

Remy grinned. “I’ll pick you up instead.”novelbin

“Okay. I have to go now. You can go on with your work.”

Remy stood before the elevator and watched Elisa enter. He only went back after the doors closed and

his girlfriend was no longer in sight.

Meanwhile, at Queen Enterprise in Jensburg, Kevin’s car stopped at the company’s entrance. He

honked for the security guard to open the gates.

When the guard saw Kevin’s car, he exited the booth. Just when he was about to open the gates, he

saw a long-haired woman in a dress sitting in the car.

He was stunned. He could not be more familiar with the car as it belonged to the shameless Mr. Kevin

York, who kept bothering his boss. The car would go in and out of the company several times a day.

The security guards recognized the car and they could never be mistaken.

However, the person in the car was a woman, not Kevin.

The guard was in a dilemma. He did not know how the woman in the car was related to Kevin and why

she drove his car to the company.

The guard wondered if he should grant the person entry. When Kevin saw the guard looking at him

confusedly and not opening the gates, he did not get out of the car or lower the window.

He simply continued honking.

The security guard snapped back to his senses and walked over to knock on the car window.

Only then did Kevin lower the window. However, he did not look toward the security guard. He kept his

gaze straight and said, “Open the gates. I want to go inside.”

The voice sounded husky and familiar.

It was Mr. Kevin’s voice.

The security guard was suspicious.

“May I know who you are?”

“I’m Kevin’s twin sister.”

The guard was speechless.

“I’m here to look for Mr. Queen. Open the gates now.”

The guard said, “Oh, okay.”

He returned to his booth to open the gates for Kevin. He muttered softly, “Does Mr. Kevin have a twin

sister? I’ve never heard of it. His twin sister sounds exactly like him.”

Did girls not have clear, sweet voices?

It was the guard’s first time hearing a woman sounding like a man.

In the end, he still opened the gates and Kevin’s car entered.

A few minutes later, all employees of Queen Enterprise saw a tall woman who looked exactly like Kevin

walking into the company building in heels.

The receptionists were so stunned that they forgot to stop her.
