Chapter 2298

Kevin quickly took the high heels off once he entered the elevator. He had no idea that wearing high

heels was so tricky.

No wonder Hayden did not like them and refused to wear them. She was unwilling to return to wearing

women’s clothing and preferred dressing up as a man.

She also refused the dresses and high heels he gave her. He said he wanted to see her in women’snovelbin

clothing, and she expressed her wishes to see him crossdress too.

Kevin decided to do it on that day.

He wore a wig and a dress. It was a small matter. Even putting on some makeup to soften his features

was easy. However, the heels were difficult to get used to.

He kept stumbling and could not walk in a straight line.

Luckily, he was in Jensburg. He did not tell everyone that he was Kevin York either.

Otherwise, he would have made the entertainment news headlines if the journalists were to find out.

Kevin was even holding a bag, which contained a set of his casual clothes. He would change in

Hayden’s office later.

However, he left his shoes in the car. Hayden probably had a pair of shoes anyway, so he could borrow

hers.

Kevin took the elevator to the top floor. He put the pair of high heels on again and walked to Hayden’s

office from the elevator.

Hayden’s secretary had just exited the office. He was about to greet Kevin out of habit when he spotted

him. However, the secretary stopped himself when he saw it was a woman.

Fortunately, the secretary was unlike other people as he quickly snapped out of his surprise and

promptly prevented Kevin from entering the office.

Simultaneously, he reprimanded the employees on the lower floors for allowing a woman to come up.

Did they think Mr. Queen did not have enough pursuers?

By the way, the woman looked like Mr. Kevin. It was not an exaggeration to say that they had the same

features.

“It’s me.”

Kevin did not pretend in front of the secretary.

The low voice left the secretary dumbfounded. Then, he watched as Kevin pushed the office door open

and entered.

“Mr… Kevin?”

The secretary returned to his senses, but the office door was already closed.

“Mr. Kevin? Was the woman who entered just now Mr. Kevin?” he muttered and tried to convince

himself to believe his own eyes.

He was not blind. He could see everything clearly. The woman earlier was Mr. Kevin.

Was he cross-dressing?

Otherwise, one might wonder if Mr. Kevin dressed as a woman due to Mr. Queen's unwillingness to

acknowledge his feelings. It was evident that Mr. Kevin went to great lengths to win Mr. Queen's

affection, even resorting to cross-dressing.

What a huge sacrifice.

They were indeed a good match for each other.

However, fate was cruel.

The secretary believed that even if Mr. Kevin had gained Mr. and Mrs. Queen’s favor, his boss would

never accept Mr. Kevin’s feelings.

Mr. Queen definitely did not like Mr. Kevin.

The secretary wanted to open the door to witness his boss’s reaction, but he held it in.

Kevin closed and locked the door to prevent others from disturbing his time with Hayden.

Hayden was busy. She did not even raise her head as she thought her secretary had returned. When

she heard the footsteps of someone wearing high heels, she realized the person who came in was not

her secretary.

She lifted her head.

The moment she spotted Kevin’s face with makeup, her pen fell on the table and rolled to the ground.

Kevin approached and stood opposite her. He ran his fingers through the wig and spun around to show

off his dress. Next, he asked the dumbfounded Hayden, “How do I look? Am I pretty in women’s

clothing? My features are too manly. I don’t have the softness of a woman even after wearing women’s

clothes or putting on makeup.”
