Chapter 2289

“What’s your decision, Ms. Crawford?”

Julian asked Quinn whether she wanted to go to Wildridge Manor.

Quinn searched for images of the manor on her phone, but nothing came up.

“Why can’t I find any pictures of Wildridge Manor?”

“That’s for sure. It’s the York family’s manor. How can they let just anyone take pictures when that’s

where they live? I can guarantee that you won’t regret visiting the manor.”

Since Julian already obtained Zachary’s permission, Quinn agreed as she was also interested in the

York family. “Let’s visit the place then. Are you free tomorrow, Mr. Bucham? I wish to bring the children

there tomorrow.”

“I’m free anytime. I don’t have to be at the company daily anyway. I call the shots, so no one has a say

in what I do.”

There was truly no one who could control him, except for his parents.

“What will you guys be doing this evening?” Julian asked.

“I’m taking the kids to a nearby park for a walk. We saw a huge park nearby when we were on the bus.

There were luscious trees and we could stay under the shade.”

“There indeed is a park nearby. I can take you all there in the evening. After visiting the park, we can go

to a food street with lots of food being sold. I believe you and the kids will love it.”

“Okay. I did some research on Wiltspoon before coming. I know there’s a food street, but I didn’t have

the time to visit it.”

Quinn had to take her students to the competition every day. She dared not bring the twelve of them

around by herself.

With Julian around to watch the kids with her, she felt more at ease.novelbin

While they were talking, lunch was served. The dishes filled the entire table.

Quinn told Julian, “You ordered too much, Mr. Bucham.”

“It’s okay. We can request the leftovers to be packed and brought home.”

Quinn smiled. “Do you bring leftovers back too? I thought CEOs like you wouldn’t care about the food if

you couldn’t finish it.”

Julian was rich, so she did not expect him to keep the remaining food after eating at a hotel.

She felt he was down-to-earth and her impression of him improved further.

“I usually order two dishes and a soup whenever I eat alone at a hotel. They’re all portioned for one

person. That way, I won’t be wasting food. Sometimes I’ll also eat at the buffet area on the first floor. I

can eat whatever I want, and I’ll definitely finish my food.

“I may be rich, but my money didn’t appear out of nowhere. It’s all hard-earned money. I avoid being

wasteful as I know how difficult it is to earn money.”

Quinn gave him a thumbs up.

She liked men like that.

“Let’s eat, kids. Take whichever food you like.”

Julian called out to the children. Then, the kids looked toward Quinn. She said, “Take whatever you

like, but only as much as you can eat.”

Her students only started eating after she did.

Julian noted that and then served himself some food too. While watching the children eat, he told

Quinn, “They listen to you well, Ms. Crawford. I noticed that they’d look at you before doing anything.”

The children also looked toward her when he was giving them presents. They only accepted the

presents after she nodded.

The same thing happened during meals.

Quinn said, “Their parents taught them well.”

Julian grinned. “I guess your family gym doesn’t only teach martial arts. You must’ve been a role model

and taught your students how to conduct themselves too. Don’t people who learn martial arts put great

importance on sportsmanship?”

“Yes. Sportsmanship is extremely important.

“The food tastes great, Mr. Bucham.”

“Wiltspoon Hotel is the best hotel in Wiltspoon. You’ve tasted their buffet, but the buffet food still can’t

compare to what we’re having now, which was specially ordered. The dishes cooked by high-class

chefs taste even better.”
