Zachary grabbed Serenity’s shoulders and let her lean against him. Wanting to please her, he said,
“Honey, let’s go on a holiday soon, okay? Just the two of us.”
“Where are we going?”
Serenity’s attention was successfully diverted.
“We’ll remain in Wiltspoon, but we’re going to another estate I own that you haven’t been to.”
“Aren’t we going to wait until after the wedding? If we can’t go someplace far, our honeymoon can be a
drive around Wiltspoon.”
Zachary remembered that their wedding ceremony would be held after their anniversary. Although both
occasions could be celebrated together, they held different meanings. He said, “It’ll be a two-day
holiday. We can go on a drive after our wedding too. I have one month off.”
“I can imagine how furious Josh will get.”
“I granted him two months off when he got married while only taking a month off for myself now. He
shouldn’t be angry about this.”
Serenity smiled. “Okay. You can make the necessary arrangements.”
She knew Zachary wanted to whisk her away from everyone to celebrate their anniversary privately.
He told her he had an anniversary gift ready for her.
What gift could it be?
She had something prepared too. As Jasmine stated, men and women are the same; they had to be
surprised and pampered occasionally.
Jasmine literally had Josh eating out of her hand.
Elisa said Jasmine and Serenity were adept at taming their husbands. She wished to learn that skill
from them.
Serenity made fun of Elisa before, saying she did not have to tame her future husband. Remy was
naturally obedient to his partner. It seemed like a Johnson family tradition where Johnson men loved to
shower their wives with abundant affection.
“Don’t forget to reply Julian,” Serenity reminded Zachary.
He smiled and said, “You’re right. I almost forgot about that.”
As he spoke, he replied to Julian: [Okay.]
After receiving Zachary’s reply, Julian sent a voice message.
Zachary played the message: [Mr. York, I plan to take my friend on a day trip to visit Wildridge Manor. I
promise we won’t disturb your family. With that, are we allowed to go?
[There’ll be twelve kids who are several years old. However, they’re all nice and obedient kids. They
won’t raise a ruckus.]
Zachary replied: [Okay. You guys can go over whenever you want. I’ll inform the butler. The butler will
make the arrangements when you all are there.]
Julian played Zachary’s message for Quinn.
After listening to it, Quinn said, “I finally know what a husky, charismatic voice often described in novels
sounds like. Mr. York’s voice sounds alluring.”
Julian said, “All grown-up men have a similar kind of voice.”
He could have an alluring voice too.
Quinn laughed. “You sound great too, Mr. Julian.”
“Are you easily attracted to voices?”
“I find myself drawn to voices, appearances, and martial arts abilities, with the last attribute being my
top priority. If someone surpasses me significantly in that, I will deeply respect, admire, and even

He had better skills than Quinn, but he could not let her find out yet. It would be a surprise for her in the
