Quinn was tempted.
She said, “I’ll think about it. It’s someone else’s house. We’ll be a disturbance if we have fun there.”
More importantly, she had to bring twelve students everywhere with her. She could not ditch them and
have fun herself.
“It’s really fine. If you’re worried about the noise, I can send Zachary a message for his opinion now.”
Julian was going all out to secure time with Quinn.
He immediately sent a message to Zachary.
However, he typed another message before that. He told Zachary he was pursuing someone, asked for
his help, and requested him not to reveal his identity.
Quinn was likely clueless about the Buchams’ background.
Julian did not want her to find out as he was afraid of scaring her off.
If Quinn discovered the Bucham family’s true nature and that he was the young master, she would
have guessed that he had her investigated before.
Her impression of him would be ruined.
Quinn was the only woman in the world who could move his heart and make him a normal man.
Julian would not let anything happen before they got married.
Zachary and Serenity were having their meal at the Stones’ villa. When Zachary received Julian’s
message, he said to Serenity, “Seren, Julian has finally come to me for help.”
Serenity could not resist laughing upon hearing that. She said, “Have you been waiting for him to seek
your help all along?”
“Not exactly. Julian is a capable man. I’ve received and will require lots of help from him. I owe him too
many favors, even though he’d collect a fee from me every time.
“However, he never collected much from me because of Josh. It was probably a discounted fee for
friends. I’ve always wanted to return the many favors I owe him.
“Unfortunately, Julian is too capable. It has always been him doing something for others, and not the
other way round. It’s rare for him to come to me for help.”
Zachary showed Serenity his phone.
She read Julian’s message and smiled. “He must’ve learned this trick from you. Is he pretending to be
poor, hiding his identity, and only planning to reveal it after he succeeds in wooing Ms. Crawford? Isn’t
he afraid that she’ll be furious at him for deceiving her?”
“Honey, that incident is already in the past. Let’s not bring it up again.”
Zachary smiled sheepishly. He feared his wife bringing up his past mistakes the most.
“Julian only hid the Bucham family’s true nature and his identity as the Buchams’ young master. He’s
probably scared of startling Ms. Crawford. The Buchams often conduct investigations for others.
People who’ve received their help would be grateful to them whereas those being investigated would
despise them.
“Even so, no one has dared to target them as they’re strong despite being low profile. They’re also
close to many influential families.
“Only families who work in the same line as the Buchams or have capable daughters would think ofnovelbin
becoming their in-laws.”
Julian was the next head of the Bucham family. That placed a potential danger on his future wife.
“Ms. Crawford knows Julian is a CEO. The Buchams do have some presentable companies.”
Serenity hummed in acknowledgment. “He lied differently from you. You didn’t exactly pretend to be
poor. You disguised yourself as an ordinary salaryman and hid your identity as a young master of the
Yorks to fool me.
“In contrast, he’s deceiving Ms. Crawford by hiding the true nature of his family business. He wants to
make her feel attracted to him first.”
Zachary was speechless.
“It may be fun to deceive the person you’re wooing, but it might come back to bite you. It looks like Mr.
Julian hasn’t learned any lessons from you. Your cousins seemed to have learned a thing or two
though.”
