Chapter 2283

“I’m not angry anymore,” Elisa expressed and looked toward her parents.

Audrey said embarrassedly, “Speaking of this, this problem happened because of me. It’s not your

fault. Since you said the gifts are an apology, Mr. Bucham, we’ll accept them.”

Stacy smiled and said, “Although we couldn’t be in-laws, Elisa had indirectly brought Quinn to Julian.

We’re very grateful for that. Let’s keep in touch frequently from now on.”

The Buchams had a close relationship with the Yorks. While they were not enemies with the Stones,

York Corporation and Stone Group were business rivals. Therefore, the Buchams’ connection with the

Stone family was merely acquaintances.

Nevertheless, the York and Stone families ended up getting along well. Since their companies had no

business collaborations, the competition between them had also eased.

Even if the Buchams were to interact with the Stones frequently, they did not have to worry about the

Yorks being offended—all because the York and Stone families had become relatives.

Audrey said, “Of course.”

The incident of Walter proposing a marriage was resolved through Julian’s explanation. Julian would no

longer “pester” the Stones and both families could finally be at ease.

Walter and Stacy stayed at Stones’ for lunch while Julian rushed to Wiltspoon Hotel.

Luckily, he reached before Quinn and the children. He saw a bus arriving at the hotel’s entrance right

after he parked his car.

Soon, the bus door opened.

Quinn was the first person to get off the bus.

She stood by the door and watched her students alight from the bus. Next, she did a roll call to ensure

all twelve kids were accounted for and thanked the bus driver with a smile.

The bus then departed. Since it was a luxury hotel with many important guests, the large vehicle could

only stay for a short time as it would obstruct the expensive cars.

“Ms. Crawford.”

Julian walked over.

Quinn turned and saw him. She went up to him with a smile. “You must’ve waited for a long time, Mr.

Bucham.”

“Not at all. I had some matters to attend to earlier and only just arrived.”

Julian looked toward Quinn’s twelve students. They were all several years old.

Quinn told the students, “This is Julian.”

“Hi, Julian,” greeted the twelve of them simultaneously.novelbin

“Nice to meet you all,” Julian replied gently.

He patted the head of a boy near him and asked, “How did your competition go?”

“We’re the champions!” the kids cheered.

Quinn was all smiles too. She was elated.

“That’s great! I’m happy for you guys. I prepared some gifts for you all too. They’re in my car. Do you

want presents? Follow me if you want one.”

Julian led the children to his car.
