Chapter 2282

More importantly, the man Elisa loved was Remy.

In the past, Elisa would follow Zachary around but he spared her no glance. After finding out that he

and Serenity had gotten married, she stopped her feelings for him from growing and finally let go of

them to start a new relationship.

Darrell wanted his daughter to be happy.

Unfortunately, he had a strict wife, so he could not be overt with his stance considering Audrey’s huge

reaction.

“Dad, Mom, I promised Quinn I’ll treat her and her students to a meal in the afternoon. I have to rush

over as it’s almost time. Please clean up this mess. Also, I can handle my relationship with Quinn. You

don’t have to interfere.

“Anyway, your daughter-in-law won’t be able to escape. Trust your son.”

Upon hearing that, Walter and Stacy quickly urged him, “Hurry. Don’t be late and go treat Quinn to

lunch.”

“We promise not to meddle as long as you can manage it.”

They would let Julian savor the sweet taste of love, and he would experience everything any other

person did.

Julian left in a rush after apologizing to the Stones.

Zachary and Serenity arrived after he was gone. Since they missed the drama, they learned from Elisa

that Julian had found his destined woman.

“The psychic Grandma May knows is unbelievable. Seren, can you request Nana to introduce me to

the psychic? I want him to predict when I’ll be the wealthiest woman in the world.”

Elisa was shocked by the psychic’s greatness. His predictions had been spot on.

He had stated that Zachary and Serenity were a couple in their past lives. Thanks to Grandma May’s

interference, Zachary was forced to marry Serenity, and lo and behold, he truly fell for Serenity. Both of

them became a lovey-dovey couple.

The psychic foretold that they would have children of both genders. Though this was yet to be

confirmed, he was right on the money that Serenity would receive some good news during fall.

Not only that, the psychic predicted that Julian would meet the woman destined for him with her being

twenty-four years old when she arrived in Wiltspoon. All his predictions were accurate.

Elisa never believed in superstitions but became interested in the eminent psychic. She wanted to get a

prophecy about herself from him.

Serenity said, “It’s too late.”

Elisa asked, “Why?”

“The psychic stated that it was time for us to part. He told Nana not to look for him anymore. Even if

she does, he won’t meet her or us again. Someone like him places much importance on the laws of

cause and effect.”

The psychic only became acquainted with Grandma May and gained her trust because he thought fate

had brought them together.

Even if it was Grandma May, whom he had known for many years, he would not make an exception

because their time was up.

“Nana only got a prediction for Zachary out of all her grandsons. The psychic cited he knew Zacharynovelbin

from his past life and owed Zachary a favor, hence he agreed to meet the both of us.”

Everyone thought the psychic was amazing.

However, since he said their bond with him had ended, it would be inappropriate for them to keep

insisting.

Walter said, “I considered preparing a valuable gift to thank the psychic. I didn’t know the previous time

we met would be the last.”

He looked toward the gifts on the coffee table and said, “Mrs. Stone, my wife and I have visited you

abruptly today. These gifts are our token of apology. I apologize to Elisa on behalf of my son, who has

caused her much trouble.”
