Chapter 2279

Everyone looked at Julian after hearing what he just said.

Even Elisa, who had just returned, looked toward him with interest while Remy’s boiling anger

dissipated instantly.

“Really? Where’s that girl? You’re not lying to me, are you? Don’t blame me for being harsh on you if

you dare deceive me. Your mom and I have been concerned about your marriage all this time.”

Walter was stunned. He quickly questioned Julian about the truthfulness of his statement.

Julian grabbed the keychain that he brought everywhere with him. Even after meeting Quinn, he did not

return the keychain. It was their token of love; well, to Julian anyway.novelbin

He showed his parents the photo on the keychain and told them, “Look. This is the photo of that girl. It’s

all thanks to Ms. Stone that I was able to find her.”

Elisa said, “Me? I didn’t do anything.”

She was happy that Julian had found the one for him because now he would stop bothering her. Even if

Julian did not love her, she was troubled by his pestering.

Of course, there were blessings from this nuisance. Her mother’s attitude toward Remy had improved

and her relationship with Remy was in a much better place.

However, Julian was implying that she had introduced him to a girl when she had not done it. She could

not bear that responsibility.

Julian said, “You didn’t do anything, but I was able to meet that girl thanks to you. Didn’t I pick you up

from the airport the day you came back from your most recent business trip?

“I found this keychain at the airport that day. My heart started racing when I saw this small photo on the

keychain. ‘This must be what love feels like,’ I thought. I can’t resist kissing the photo when there’s no

one around.”

Everybody was speechless.

Julian was thirty-four years old, only slightly younger than Duncan. They were the most well-known

bachelors in Wiltspoon.

Not many people had seen him, but those who had had always commented that he carried an air of

maturity and composure.

It seemed like an adult as calm and collected as Julian also had times he could not control himself. It

was surprising that he would kiss a photo of a girl.

However, Julian’s condition came to mind. No treatment was available but Quinn could be his antidote.

He had no reaction toward other women aside from her. Since she could rouse such a reaction in him,

she was definitely the woman fated for him.

“This girl looks bold and stunning. She has a bright smile too. She definitely practices some kind of

sport. She’s a good match for Julian,” Walter complimented.

Stacy took the keychain from her husband. She stared at Quinn’s photo, praising, “Her smile isn’t just

bright. It looks warm and healing too. She’s young, beautiful, bold, and full of confidence. This is great!

I would love to have her as my daughter-in-law.”

The rest of the people in the room thought, ‘Due to Julian’s condition, only one woman in the world can

spark a reaction in him. You’ll have to accept her even if you dislike her.’

Walter and Stacy essentially did not have a choice.

“Mr. Bucham, can I have a look at the girl?”

Audrey could not resist asking. She was curious about the identity of the woman fated to be with Julian.
