Chapter 2234

Nevertheless, Serenity could not pry information out of Dylan’s mouth if he refused to divulge anything.

Dylan was bound to bring home the wife Grandma May had chosen for him.

While picking out potential wives for Zachary’s younger cousins, Grandma May would consider whether

these women would get along with Serenity. Of course, integrity was an important criterion in choosing

partners for the family because only the nice women would have a great relationship with Serenity.

At the end of the day, Grandma May favored Zachary and Serenity the most.

Zachary was the eldest grandson after all.

Of course, he was on a different level than the rest of them in his generation.

Zachary was the head of the York family, and Serenity was his wife. Serenity must work to build a

relationship with the other ladies too. She should lead by example to be a leader among the ladies. It

was the way to go to earn their respect.

“Zack, Seren, I’m going to say hello to my parents before they tell me off for coming home without

saying a thing.”

Dylan quickly ran off.

He was afraid of Seren, who was eager for some gossip.

If Seren started showing interest, Zack would keep tabs on him to share stories with Seren to indulge

her desire for gossip.

“Something must be going on since he ran off so quickly.”

Serenity said with a smile, “Babe, who did Nana choose for Dylan?”

“I don’t know. I don’t really pay attention since I have a wife. My heart and mind belong to my wife.

Other women have nothing to do with me. I don’t want to waste my time on them.”novelbin

Serenity was speechless.

Her husband was a one-woman man.

Wildridge Manor was quite a bustle with everybody home. Peace gradually resumed in the place late

into the night.

The next morning, Zachary drove his beloved wife out of Wildridge Manor.

Today was the opening day of Liberty’s new restaurant.

The couple wanted to be there to support Liberty.

There was a display of flower baskets at the entrance of All You Can Eat Restaurant. People delivered

flowers in celebration of the opening of Liberty’s new restaurant.

Everybody could now confidently call Liberty a lady boss.

Liberty prepared a ribbon-cutting ceremony as many would do for the opening of new establishments.

She was just following the trend.

With everything ready, Liberty looked at the time as Serenity had not arrived yet. She then gave her

sister a call.

“Liberty, I’m five minutes away. You can proceed with the ribbon-cutting ceremony. No need to wait for

me since it’s your restaurant.”

Serenity knew why Liberty was calling before Liberty had a chance to speak.

“It’s okay. There’s still time. I’ll wait for you.”

It was no biggie in delaying the ceremony by five minutes for Serenity.

The sisters only had each other for years. They were each other’s most important person.

Serenity waited for Liberty during the opening of her bookshop, and Liberty was merely doing the same

for her restaurant opening.

They hoped they could participate in each other’s important life events.

“Tell the chauffeur to be careful on the road. There’s no rush. The ceremony only begins in ten

minutes.”

Liberty was worried that Serenity would urge the chauffeur to go faster.

Serenity was pregnant and she should exercise caution with her pregnancy for the first trimester.

Liberty was constantly worried even though Serenity was in good health.

Everybody had been eagerly anticipating the pregnancy for a year.
