Chapter 2157

Serenity said, “It’s not confirmed yet. I vomited because I felt nauseous after smelling milk on Clo-clo

when I carried her.

“Jane and the rest said I’m most probably experiencing morning sickness.

“We’re waiting for Dr. Carden to come over and examine me. However, you came before she arrived.

Don’t worry. I’m fine.”

Although it was not confirmed that they were pregnant, Zachary could not contain his smile anymore.

He held Serenity’s hand and grinned. He said, “They’ve been through the same process and are

experienced. If they say you’re pregnant, then you are.

“Where’s Dr. Carden? Is she here?” Zachary stood up and asked.

He was desperate to lift Dr. Carden over immediately.

Oh, that would be inappropriate. He would have to invite her over as if he were inviting a VIP.

He could not offend Dr. Carden.

Jane said, “You’re too fast, Mr. York. Lilian couldn’t keep up with you.”

Iris teased, “Mr. York must’ve sped up the stairs once he heard Seren had vomited. Dr. Carden

might’ve been stunned by the sight and lagged behind.”

Serenity blushed.

She was super nervous.

She did not know whether she was really pregnant.

It would be great if she were.

She could get rid of the pressure on her.

“I’m here. What happened?” Lilian entered and asked while walking.

Tim followed behind her with their son in his arms.

The crybaby was asleep, but Tim dared not put him down. It could be due to his lack of experience as a

father, but he always failed to put his son to bed after his son had fallen asleep in his arms. The boy

would wake up once he came into contact with the bed and started crying again.

Lilian could successfully put her son to bed sometimes, but there were also times when she failed, like

her husband.

Her mother-in-law said it was because they had been carrying the baby every day. Therefore, the little

boy had gotten used to sleeping in an adult’s embrace and would cry once he was placed on the bed.

However, her mother-in-law did not keep to her own words. She would also run to carry Oliver once

she heard him crying.

Lilian thought her teacher was the most skilled in raising babies.

Little Oliver was obedient whenever her teacher took care of him. He would eat, sleep, and repeat. He

did not cry much.

The legendary doctor commented that young couples did not know how to care for babies. An easy

baby could become a difficult one in their hands.

“Is Little Oliver asleep?”

Jane saw the baby in Tim’s arms. She said, “Connor’s still sleeping too. Let Oliver sleep with his

brother. You don’t have to walk around with him.”

FC Manor was lively during those two days. People were everywhere.

“He’s asleep.”

Tim replied, “If he weren’t, you all would’ve heard him howling from the stairs.”

Everyone burst into laughter.

Jane took her nephew from Tim’s arms. She scolded him, “How can you describe your son that way?

He’s not a wolf.”

Tim smiled sheepishly.

Jane had given birth to two babies. She usually cared for the children personally and was slightly more

experienced than Tim and Lilian.

Jane placed the sleeping Oliver beside Connor. His little hands moved slightly once he was put on the

bed, but he soon continued sleeping soundly.

Tim let out a breath of relief.

He whispered, “You should order a larger crib and let Oliver sleep with his brother and sister, Jane.

Maybe he won’t cry anymore if he has companions.”

The nursery Jane prepared for her babies was sufficiently large too.novelbin

Jane smiled and said, “The crib isn’t the issue. The main problem is that Connor and Tim are both

crybabies. It’ll be loud if they’re gathered in one place.”

Everyone laughed again.
