Chapter 2145

“We didn’t teach you well. We didn’t instill proper morals into you and let you go astray. I blame myself

too.”

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry, Mom. I was wrong.”

Jenna was not stupid. When her father resolutely told her to make a choice, she would definitely not

choose Zachary.

She could not lose everything she had now.

Zachary was just a passerby in her life. No matter how much she wanted to keep him, she could not

keep a passerby.novelbin

Amelia sighed. “Your dad and I don’t want your apology. What we want to see is you proving yourself

with your actions. Jenna, I hope you won’t let us down again. I’ll go upstairs now. You take some time

to yourself and think about it.”

Then, Amelia went upstairs.

Jenna was left sitting on the sofa, shedding tears at times and feeling resentful at other times.

Amelia understood her daughter. It would be difficult for Jenna to come around for a while. They had to

give her some time to think about it. If she was still unwilling to give up on Zachary, then not even

Amelia could help her.

Serenity had no clue about the storm in the Daniels family.

She handed the matter over to Zachary, so she believed he would give her a satisfactory solution.

She spent the weekend in Wildridge Manor.

On Monday, a new week started.

After going back to the city, the people who needed to work went back to work, and the child who

needed to go to preschool went to preschool.

Liberty still remembered what Audrey said. After returning from Wildridge Manor, she finished arranging

the affairs of her two shops, entrusted Sonny to her sister, and went to Jensburg with Audrey.

That was because Zachary and Serenity were going to FC Manor to attend the 100-day-old celebration

of Connor and Chloe at the end of the month.

Liberty could only leave for a week.

At the end of the week, Audrey and she came back from Jensburg.

Liberty did not follow Audrey back to the Stone residence. She knew that her son was at her sister’s

shop, so she went straight to the bookstore.

The sun set and the glow was as red as fire.

The bookstore was quite busy at this time.

Liberty went in and saw her sister and Jasmine like how they usually were. One was taking stuff for

students while the other manned the counter.

Sonny held a children’s book and sat there, quietly flipping through the pages. His small school bag

was placed beside him.

Occasionally, some students came to play with him.

Who would not want to play with a child who looked that cute?

“Seren.”

Liberty called her sister.

“Liberty, you’re back.” Serenity cried out in surprise when she saw her sister coming in. She

immediately called her nephew. “Sonny, look. Your mom is back.”

When Sonny looked up and saw his mother, he threw the book in his hand aside, stood up, and jumped

into his mother’s arms.

“Mom, you’re back. I missed you.”

Liberty picked up her son and peppered kisses all over his little face. She laughed and said, “Mom

missed you too. Were you a good boy when I wasn’t home?”

Sonny nodded. “I was good. Uncle Zak praised me for being good too.”

He did not sleep in even when his mother was not around.

Every morning when his Uncle Zak woke him up, he would immediately get out of bed.

His mother said that Uncle Zak’s time was very precious and could not be wasted.

He was afraid of wasting Uncle Zak’s time if he did not get out of bed.

“Liberty, have you eaten?”
