Chapter 2104

It was apparent that Julian resented being urged by his father to get married.

The psychic said to leave it up to fate. Once the right time came, the lady who could make him a

normal man would automatically appear and approach him without him searching for her.

However, Julian’s father was a hasty person. He said Julian was not young, and if he did not take the

initiative and simply waited for the heavens’ arrangement, until when did he have to wait? What if the

heavens were sleeping and had forgotten about him? Would Julian then have to be single forever?

Julian was dissatisfied.

How could he be considered old?

He was just a few years past thirty.

Even after rounding up his age, he was only forty years old. He would still be in the prime of his life and

young at forty.

The average lifespan of a human had increased. Based on his health condition, Julian thought living up

to a hundred years old would not be a problem.

Therefore, he was not panicked that he was a single man despite already being in his thirties.

Clive could not help laughing. He said, “I guess Grandma May also had no choice because your dad

kept bugging her. Therefore, she introduced a psychic to reassure your dad.”

No one had expected the results.

Who would have thought the great Mr. Bucham would be so relentless in urging his son to marry?

No wonder the youngsters of the Bucham family who were of suitable age to marry and without a

partner had all escaped. They either went on business trips or were overseas. Anyway, they did not

remain in Wiltspoon.

They were scared.

They feared Mr. Bucham would target them.

Even Julian’s bodyguards became tense from seeing him being constantly urged to marry, afraid thatnovelbin

Mr. Bucham would also involve himself in their marriages as well.

“Your getting nagged by your dad deserves sympathy, but don’t vent your dissatisfaction on me. I never

touched the gifts you sent me, Julian. Since you’re here today, why don’t you bring all of them back?”

Elisa complained that Julian was causing others unhappiness along with his sorrow.

“I had thought of returning the gifts to you for some time, but I never dared to do so in fear of your dad

finding out.”

Julian said casually, “If you don’t like them, you can give them to someone else or throw them away.

Please don’t return them to my house. If my dad finds out, I can’t imagine what he’ll do.

“Ms. Elisa, Mr. Johnson, you don’t have to mind what I’m doing. Just continue dating each other or

break up. I’m fine with that.”

Elisa and Remy were speechless.

“How did I offend you, Mr. Julian? Please give me an explanation to restore my peace of mind,” Elisa

said.

She had a headache.

If she had committed a crime, she could have been punished by the law. Why was Julian torturing her?

“You didn’t offend me. I find you… a little attractive.”

Julian’s latter sentence had some truth to it.

“I used to think you were headstrong and unreasonable. Everyone said you were a bad woman. I’ve

never tried to know you better and assumed the same as everyone else. After all, many people had

negative comments about you.

“After getting to know you, I think those people are just jealous of you, Ms. Elisa. They slandered you

on purpose because you’re a carefree person.”

Elisa thought, ‘I don’t need your recognition or praise. I just want you to stay as far away from me as

you can.’
