Chapter 2103

Elisa knew Julian was not serious about her. Additionally, she came from a wealthy family. She never

lacked any of the expensive items as her family was loaded. That was why she did not fall for him.

Besides, Elisa would always throw every gift Julian sent over aside from the bouquets. As for some

other stuff, she would pile them together and never touch them.

She intended to return all the gifts to him when he was no longer out of his mind.

Elisa gave it some thought. She would have to wait until she was engaged or married to Remy before

she could return the gifts to Julian with Remy.

If she were to return the presents to Julian right away, then his father would find out. The Stone family

knew how crazy Mr. Bucham was.

Mr. Bucham was bent on rescuing his eldest son. If he knew Julian was interested in Elisa, he would

disregard Elisa’s willingness and propose a marriage between the two families.

Julian’s actions were already causing her a headache. If Mr. Bucham was also involved, her peacefulnovelbin

days would be gone.

Therefore, she tolerated it.

Her family tolerated it too.

Even Remy had no choice.

The only thing he could do was to treat Elisa better and perform well in front of the Stones.

Whenever Julian sent gifts that were not flowers, Remy would buy the same item for her. He would not

let Julian occupy a spot in her heart.

Julian soon entered.

He came in empty-handed. He had already passed the gifts he bought to the Stone family’s

housekeepers and had them help him move everything inside.

“Oh, everyone’s here. Were you guys waiting for me because you knew I was coming?”

Julian laughed heartily when he saw everyone present. After walking over, he sat beside Remy without

hesitation when he saw no empty seats. He smiled and said, “Let’s huddle a bit, Mr. Johnson.”

Remy was sitting opposite Mr. and Mrs. Stone.

Since Julian sat beside him, Mr. and Mrs. Stone could compare who was better.

Remy stood up while smiling. “You can have the seat, Mr. Julian.”

After offering the seat to Julian, he walked over and sat beside Elisa.

The butler brought a huge bouquet while the maids held large and small shopping bags.

Soon, the coffee table was filled with the presents Julian had brought.

Aside from the branded bags, clothes, makeup, and jewelry for Elisa, two boxes of supplements were

prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Stone. There were also a few sets of baby clothing for Elisa’s unborn niece

or nephew.

Julian noticed the butler was at a loss. To help him, he went over and took the bouquet from the

butler’s hands. Then, he placed it on the coffee table too. He said, “The florist’s flowers were especially

lovely today, so I bought a huge bouquet.”

Audrey’s smile looked forced. She asked, “How did you have the time to come over today, Mr. Julian?”

“Ah, don’t even mention it. I initially had nothing to do today and could’ve spent a relaxing weekend at

home. However, my dad nagged me as soon as I woke up. He told me to meet the girl he picked to see

if I would react to her.

“The nagging was horrible. It made me feel dizzy and gave me a headache. I had to escape from it.

“Most importantly, my dad was resourceful and would show up everywhere. He would come over even

if I stayed in a house under my name. He’s determined to chase me out of the house. My illness

depends on fate. I’ll be able to recover without any injections or medicine if I meet the right person.

“Even if I can’t meet someone and have to live like this for the rest of my life, I'm fine with it. I’m over

thirty years of age and have been living well without a girlfriend. Ah, it’s all Grandma May’s fault.”

Julian kept lamenting his situation.
