Chapter 1994

Donald was speechless.

He could neither admit nor deny it, thus he simply kept quiet, not knowing that his silence was

acquiescence, allowing Kevin to further confirm Hayden’s identity as a woman.

“You’re not gay?” Donald asked on purpose.

Kevin grinned. “If Hayden is a man, then I’m gay. Whether I’m gay or not depends on her.”

Donald was lost for words again.

He wanted to ask how Kevin knew his eldest “son” was a woman but felt that he would be admitting her

daughter’s identity if he did. Hayden would be angry at him again if she found out.

“You young people should handle your own affairs. We as elders won’t interfere.”

Donald could only cover up like that.

Kevin smiled and said, “Donnie, you and Mrs. Queen are open-minded like my parents. I’ll invite you to

Wildridge Manor someday when you’re free. My parents can definitely get along with you.”

Donald beamed as well. As the two continued to walk out, he said, “We haven’t seen your parents

since Mr. Bucham’s wedding. We’ll go over to visit them one day.”

In the end, Donald still asked worriedly, “Kev, Sophia and I won’t interfere in and have no opinion on

you pursuing Hay. It’s a matter between you young people. That said, didn’t your grandmother arrange

a wife candidate for you?

“Are you sure you can handle her?”

Old Mrs. York was a supreme figure in the Yorks. Even Zachary, the family head, could not act as he

wished in front of her. Otherwise, he would not have married Serenity under the gentle method and

force of his grandmother.

Now that Zachary and Serenity had a good relationship, he felt that his nana’s decision was right.

If the married couple continued to only maintain mutual respect between each other, Zachary would

likely blame his nana.

Kevin answered firmly, “Donnie, don’t worry. Since I dare to pursue Hayden, I promise I won’t betray

her. The men of the Yorks never play with people’s feelings.”

He never told Donald that Hayden was the wife candidate his nana had chosen for him.

Kevin wanted to tell Hayden himself.

He was certain that Hayden would be shocked.

At the moment, even after racking her brain, Hayden probably could not figure out how Kevin knew she

was a woman.

Kevin was scheming and confirmed with Donald that Hayden was truly a woman, but he was also

curious about how his nana found the flaw.

If not for Callum and Serenity who suggested he directly pursued Hayden, he would not have believed

that she was a woman; he could not detect any flaws.

He only believed that his nana would not trick him.

Kevin was nervous and afraid that his nana made a mistake, causing him to pursue a man.

Fortunately, it was proven that his nana still loved them and would not trick him when it came to their

marriages.

“I’m not worried. The Yorks are known for having good values. Apart from the Johnsons from

Annenburg, there isn’t a third big family with values as good as yours.”novelbin

Donald and his wife had a good relationship, but this did not mean that everyone in the Queens was

good.

In any case, every family had problems.

“The Johnsons are also close to us. My sister-in-law and their head missus are good friends, and their

fifth son is pursuing my sister-in-law’s cousin. Our families are closely connected.”

Donald had no idea.

After hearing what Kevin said, he became more determined to support Kevin’s pursuit of his daughter.

As long as they became in-laws with the Yorks, both their families would gain many benefits.
