Chapter 1986

It was not that women did not smoke, but women who smoked were still in the minority.

“I only smoked because you’re here, Mr. Kevin. I’m usually in a good mood and won’t smoke,” Hayden

answered.

Kevin chuckled and asked, “Are you saying that I put you in a bad mood? Tell me, Mr. Hayden, how are

you in a bad mood? Am I ugly? I’m not ugly. If you look at me, you’ll only find me pleasing to the eye.”

Hayden glared at him.

Kevin was not afraid of her glare. When being glared at by her, he even felt the urge to touch her big

beautiful eyes.

Of course, he could only think about it at the moment. He was afraid they would fight if he touched her.

It would also ruin his image.

“If you dare confirm in front of me that you’re a man, I promise I won’t appear in front of you anymore in

the future.”

Kevin knew Hayden was displeased because of his pursuit.

Hayden was somewhat mad. She reminded him coldly, “Mr. Kevin, have you forgotten the wife

candidate your grandmother chose for you? Your grandmother would be furious if she knew you were

pestering me and getting yourself a reputation for being gay.

“As far as I know, you’re very filial to your grandmother. Aren’t you afraid of infuriating her?”

Hayden had complained to Zachary, but Zachary said he respected his cousin’s choice as long as he

was happy.

Among the Yorks, apart from Zachary, there was also Grandma May who could control Kevin.

It was just that Grandma May was not in Wiltspoon at the moment.

Hayden had long gotten someone to inquire about this. Both Grandma May and Serenity were not innovelbin

Wiltspoon currently.

Since Hayden also did not have Grandma May’s contact, she could not complain to her.

After smoking the cigarette, Kevin walked back to the desk and discarded the cigarette butt in the

ashtray. He then walked toward the sofa in the waiting area and picked up the bouquet from the coffee

table before walking back toward Hayden.

“My nana has chosen a wife for me and also asked me to win her over within a year, but I always feel

that marriage is for a lifetime. We should properly develop feelings for each other before getting

married.

“With feelings laying the foundation, we’ll also be happier after marriage. I don’t have the courage like

my big brother who married first and fell in love after.”

Hayden caught the point and said, “How can you develop feelings with your fiancée now that you’re

entangled with me? I’m afraid she won’t even dare to marry you when she hears that you’re gay.”

Kevin looked at her with a smile and responded, “She refuses to marry me, so I can only pursue you,

Mr. Hayden. It’s because of you that I’m being regarded as gay.

“You’re the cause of me being known as gay, so you have to be responsible for me, right?”

Hayden was red with anger after hearing what Kevin said.

She had seen shameless people, but never one like Kevin.

It was Kevin who suddenly pursued Hayden in a high profile. Hayden was caught off guard by his

confession and pursuit.

Now, Kevin was blaming Hayden, saying that she was the one who caused him to be known as gay.

“Kevin York, can you be any more shameless?”

When Hayden was extremely mad, she would call Kevin by his full name.

Kevin answered with a smile, “I can. There are ten levels of shamelessness. How far would you like me

to go? I can satisfy you.”

Hayden was speechless.

Kevin handed her the bouquet. The way he looked at her made her feel hot. It made her panic a bit

because he was being serious!

“Hayden, these flowers are for you. May you be in a mood as pretty as these flowers every day.”

Hayden could not possibly accept the flowers from him. She said in a low and cold voice, “Mr. Kevin, if

you want me to be in a mood as pretty as these flowers, please don’t appear in front of me again, and

stop pestering me. I won’t accept your pursuit.”

She no longer emphasized that she was a man.

She was afraid that the shameless Kevin would force her to undress again to prove that she was a

man.

“Hayden, don’t be so sure. You’ll easily slap yourself in the face.”

Kevin grinned. “My big brother also swore at first that he won’t pursue his wife. In the end, he was

slapped hard in the face. He was this close to hanging himself on Serenity like a pendant.”
