Chapter 1985

“Mr. Hayden, Mr. Kevin is here,” announced Hayden’s secretary respectfully.

Hayden did not turn around. She just waved her hand, indicating that her secretary could go out.

The secretary invited Kevin to sit down on the sofa in the waiting area of the office and once again went

to pour a glass of warm water for him. Afterward, he quietly left the CEO’s office and closed the door

for Hayden and Kevin.

Once the secretary left, Kevin got up and walked to Hayden’s side. He extended his hand toward her.

Hayden turned to look at him in confusion.

“Mr. Hayden, give me a cigarette to smoke. I haven’t smoked for a long time, and seeing you smoke

makes me want to smoke too.”

Hayden kept quiet for a while before she fished out a pack of cigarettes. She pulled out a cigarette and

handed it to Kevin.novelbin

“Lend me your lighter.”

Kevin borrowed a lighter from Hayden.

He seldom smoked because Serenity and Jasmine did not like the smell of tobacco. Moreover, Zachary

and Josh were quitting smoking. This made the other men of the Yorks think that their fiancée might not

like the smell of tobacco too.

Hence, a few of them also did not smoke as frequently as before.

As for Josh, ever since Jasmine was pregnant, he stopped smoking and drinking.

Zachary and Serenity were always trying to conceive, so Zachary also stopped smoking and drinking.

“The lighter is on the table. Go get it yourself,” Hayden responded.

Kevin turned and walked toward her desk. He saw a lighter that looked like a tiny car on her desk.

While lighting his cigarette, he said, “Hayden, your lighter is quite special. People who don’t know

would think it’s a small toy car.”

Hayden did not reply to him.

After having his cigarette lit, Kevin returned to her side and looked at her while smoking.

“Mr. Kevin, why are you looking at me?”

“Hayden, the more I look at you, the better you look. I was thinking how stunning you’d look if you

change into a long dress, put on a wig, wear a pair of high heels, and put on some light makeup.”

Hayden responded coldly with a cold face, “Come back to me when you change into a low dress, put

on a wig, wear a pair of high heels, and walk in the city.”

She had said that she was a man, but Kevin did not believe it and still treated her as a woman.

He even wanted her to wear a dress.

She had never worn a dress.

Nor did she like them.

Hayden’s mom once bought her a beautiful dress and secretly gave it to her, but she gifted it to her

cousin instead. Her cousin was overjoyed.

Her cousin said it was very rare to receive a dress as a gift from her and praised that she had good

taste as the dress was pretty.

Kevin chuckled and asked, “Will you dress like that if I do?”

Hayden did not answer him.

She dared not promise so easily. What if Kevin actually dressed like a woman?

Given that Kevin dared to openly pursue Hayden and did not care about being treated as gay, it meant

that he was truly thick-faced. He would wear women’s clothing.

“I rarely see you smoke, Mr. Hayden. I thought you wouldn’t,” Kevin noted.

After all, Hayden was a woman.
