Chapter 1953

Kevin’s reply threw Hayden for a loop.

It was unexpected for the question to come from Kevin.

Hayden was right to suspect that Kevin knew she was a woman!

How did he find out?

Still, Hayden managed to pull herself together in a second. She firmly uttered, “I am a man. I can tell

you straight in the face that I am a man.”

She had been one for more than two decades.

Hayden believed Kevin would not be able to read her tell.

If Kevin could pick a flaw out of her disguise, Hayden could always improve the fa?ade.

Kevin kept a smile on his face.

He walked around the coffee table to get to Hayden. Kevin looked at Hayden from a standing position.

Not liking the fact that he was looking down at her from a height, Hayden stood up and met him at eye

level.

It appeared she and Kevin were of similar height.

Truth be told, Kevin was slightly taller than her.

“You said you’re a man, Hayden. Would you dare to take your clothes off in front of me?”

Kevin leaned in, getting a little too up close and personal with Hayden. His lips would meet Hayden’s if

he moved any closer.

Hayden calmly met his gaze, unflustered by his behavior.

“Why should I take off my clothes? Have I no dignity?”

Kevin grinned. “Hayden, I bet you don’t have the courage to do so. You said you’re a man. I’m a man

too. You have all the body parts I have, so I don’t see the problem with why you can’t remove your

clothes. Plus, there’s no one else in the room. It’s not like I will go around telling everybody about it.”

Hayden remained stoic. “I told you I am a man. I don’t have to get naked to prove myself to you. For

you to suspect me, do you have proof that I am not a man?”

She spoke in a deep and husky tone so that she did not come off as feminine with her high pitch.

Hayden had Adam’s apple and a flat chest. She carried herself like a man.

Since Hayden had kept up with the act for more than twenty years, she was only reminded of her real

gender during showers.

Kevin’s gaze glided down from her face to her neck and further down before coming back to her face.

“I don’t have proof that you’re not a man.”

There was nothing on the surface to suggest that Hayden was a woman. The only way to prove

Hayden’s gender was by removing her clothes.

The truth behind her gender lay underneath her clothes.

Nevertheless, there was no way he was going to take matters into his own hands and strip Hayden.novelbin

Hayden would never take off her clothes in his presence either.

“Call it a gut feeling.”

Hayden was relieved to know that Kevin had no proof. She chuckled at the comment that Kevin was

only going on a gut feeling.

She said, “How strong is your intuition? You can’t be sure when it comes to your gut feeling. My gut is

telling me that you’re not a real man, Mr. Kevin. Are you going to concur with me?”

Kevin started to unbuckle his belt.

“What are you doing, Kevin?” Hayden cried.
