Greyson smiled faintly and bowed again. “Mr. Cross, I shall take my leave now. I hope you'll attendthe wedding on time tonight, or else Mr. Wilfred is going to be disappointed. Everyone will probablythink that you're a coward too.”

Looking at the invitation card on the table, Nathan felt a little puzzled. “What's Wilfred trying to do?”

A croaky voice came from the other side of the phone. The caller didn't introduce himself but toldNathan a piece of shocking news.
“General, Wilfred has sent people to the South to kidnap your daughter. He's going to kill hertonight, bury her body beside his son's grave, and hold a posthumous wedding.”
