Chapter 1609

On Dragon Hill, Wilfred stood motionless in front of Santiago's grave.

Though his face was expressionless, he couldn't hide the grief and indignation in his eyes.novelbin

Ten years ago, he was imprisoned, and the Lieberman family was about to go to rack and ruin. However, his beloved son turned the tides and took charge of the family single-handedly.

Not only did Santiago stop the Lieberman family from going downhill, their family also started toflourish under his leadership these two years.

While Wilfred was still in the prison, he was pleased and ecstatic to know about his son'sachievements. Santiago was the most competent one in the family.

His initial plan was to wait for Hansel to retire. Then, he would get in touch with his old friends andsubordinates to get him out of the prison.

Afterward, he would return to the political arena and regain his power.

With his help and guidance, Santiago would reach new heights of success and become thepresident, fulfilling the goal which he himself couldn't attain.

However, never had he thought that his son died before he was released from prison, and he wouldnever get to see Santiago anymore.

Standing in front of his son's grave, his previous plans and ambitions were shattered into pieces.

The only thing left within him was an unbearable sorrow and fury.

I must avenge my son's death!

Wilfred's eyes glinted with extreme resentment. Clenching his fists, he asked slowly in a mercilessvoice, “Is Nathan Cross, the disciple of Hansel, the one who killed my son?”

“Yes, Sir. Nathan Cross was the one who killed

Mr. Santiago,” the butler of the Lieberman family, Greyson answered. He was also Wilfred'srighthand man.

“Mr. Santiago was about to get back together with Ms. Davies, but the both of them offended

Nathan unintentionally. In the end, he died at the hands of Nathan...”

Wilfred replied coldly, “I only want to know who the murderer is, and I don't care why he took myson's life. Now I'll make him pay the price for killing my son!”

Sensing the intense hatred in Wilfred, Greyson and the others dared not say a word.

Wilfred said bitterly through gritted teeth, “My son is so obedient and outstanding. He hasn't evengotten married. How could Nathan do this to him?”

Everyone else was outraged, cursing Nathan.

Some of them shouted, “Mr. Santiago passed away even before getting married. Other than killingNathan, we must arrange a posthumous marriage for Mr. Santiago too.”

“That's right. We should arrange a posthumous marriage for Mr. Santiago! As for his wife, let's pickNathan's wife, Penny Smith. I heard that the

“Penny Smith is already married, so she's unworthy of Mr. Santiago. I think we should kidnapNathan's daughter instead. Kill her and bury her body beside Mr. Santiago. Then we'll hold awedding.”

“Yes, yes! Though Nathan's daughter is still young, she's the most suitable candidate to marry Mr.Santiago.”

The corner of Wilfred's lips twitched up in a creepy smile as he listened to his subordinates'suggestions.

Slowly, he said, “Your suggestions are not bad. My son is still single when he breathed his last, sowe should indeed arrange a posthumous marriage for him.”

“Leopard!”

A tanned, tall, and burly man with a chubby face and vicious eyes showed up and marched over toWilfred, saying respectfully, “At your service,

Sir.”

Wilfred commanded, “Pick three hundred elites of the family, go to Channing in the South, andkidnap Nathan's daughter back here. It takes an eight-hour flight from Brimmopolis to Channing. I'mgiving you another two hours to kidnap her. We'll hold a wedding for my son later at midnight. Byhook or by crook, you must get Nathan's daughter here on time.”

Leopard replied in a low voice, “Yes, Sir!”

Wilfred waved his hand, and Leopard went away and did as instructed immediately.

The man's gaze fell on everyone else in front of him as he said calmly, “Greyson, inform all thebigwigs in Brimmopolis that my son will be getting married tonight, and invite them to the weddingceremony.”

“Yes, sir!” Greyson answered.

“Sir, I heard that Nathan came to Brimmopolis today to visit the President, who had fallen ill.”

Hearing that, Wilfred froze for a second. He then sneered, “Is he in Brimmopolis? That's great.

Send him an invitation to my son's wedding.”

“Sure!” Greyson replied.

“Be careful. For now, don't reveal that my son's soon-to-be wife is Nathan's daughter.

I hope Nathan will attend my son's wedding tonight. I can't wait to see his expression when herealizes that her daughter is my son's bride.” The man let out a menacing laugh.
