Hearing that, Nathan's expression changed drastically.
Before he could ask further about it, the man hung up on him.
He called the man back at once, but the number was not in service anymore.
With the phone in his hand, Nathan narrowed his eyes and clenched his jaw.
Colin and Kylie saw it and asked, “What's wrong?
He replied slowly, “Someone called and told me that Wilfred sent his men to kidnap Queenie to bethe bride of his son's posthumous marriage.” “What?” Colin and Kylie gasped in unison.
The two were appalled and overwhelmed by rage.
“I'm not sure whether the news is fake or real. Neither do I know the motive of the man whoinformed me about this,” Nathan said.
Kylie quickly said, “Nathan, it's better to be safe than sorry.”
Colin agreed, “Yeah. Wilfred just got out of prison. I'm certain he'll do something to declare hisreturn and re-establish his authority. Judging from Greyson's words before he left and that you'vereceived an invitation from Wilfred, I believe what the mysterious caller said is true.”
Nathan nodded in agreement. “I think so too. Colin, ask Ava, Thunderstorm, and Waves to keep alookout and protect my family. Other than that, mobilize the troops to help them out.”
“Yes, General!” Colin replied.

As the sky turned dimmer, the sun had set, but the moon had yet to rise. It was the darkest hour ofthe night.
In the Riverside Garden, the security guards were eating packed meals at the guardhouse.
There was no one walking around in the neighborhood, as this was dinner time now, and all thefamilies were busy cooking or having dinner.
Right then, a tanned and burly man in a leather jacket was walking into the residential area with twosubordinates.
In the guardhouse, the two security guards lifted their heads and stared at the unexpected visitors
in astonishment, asking instinctively, “What are you guys doing here?”
The man in a leather jacket was none other than Leopard.
He smiled at them. “Is Ms. Smith from the Cross Group staying here?”
The two security guards were a middle-aged man and a young man.
As the older one felt that something was wrong, the younger security guard already blurted out.“Yes, Ms. Smith is staying here. How can I help your
Leopard sniggered at him. “We don't need your help.”
Afterward, he took out a dagger and lunged at the two security guards.

The two security guard's throats were cut open, and they collapsed into a pool of their own bloodsimultaneously.
Leopard laughed wickedly Opening the gate, he fished out a walkie-talkie and spoke into it. “Comein, everyone. Other than the girl named Queenie, kill them all.”
In the blink of an eye, a convoy of black SUVs drove through the entrance of the Riverside Garden.
Over thirty SUVs pulled over in the residential area, and three hundred men in black suits got out ofthe cars.
These men were well-trained and armed with guns and daggers, giving off a murderous vibe.
Stepping ahead, Leopard said to his subordinates, “Follow me!”novelbin
He then led three hundred men and strutted toward Penny's house aggressively.
Standing in front of her brightly lit house, they could vaguely hear the sound of the TV from inside ofthe house.
A sinister smile appeared on Leopard's face. “Great, they're all at home. Let's get even with them onbehalf of Mr. Santiago. It's time for Nathan to get a taste of his own medicine by losing his lovedones.”

One of the subordinates shot the lock on the door and kicked the door open forcefully.
“Go in and kill them!”
The moment the door swung open, Leopard yelled to instruct his subordinates.
A dozen of his subordinates dashed into the house right away.
However, the second they stepped through the door, the sound of gunfire echoed in the house, andcountless bullets whizzed right at them. In the next second, there were bullet holes all over theirbodies.
