Chapter 1604

Quirrell didn't stop there. Instead, he swooped over to Nathan again with a murderous look in hiseyes.

The cars and concrete slabs around them had all been reduced to dust by Quirrell's fearsomepower.

In fact, Quirrell had a lesser-known nickname —'the King of Destruction'. Wherever he went, hebrought destruction.

The people around him gazed at him in shock. Even Colin and Kylie, who were rarely panicked, gazed anxiously at Nathan and were worried for his safety.

However, while Quirrell was forceful and violent, Nathan had the steadiness of a mountain tocounter him.

Quirrell had thrown out ten blows in a row. However, not only had he been unable to bring Nathandown, but he had barely been able to touch Nathan at all.

This made Quirrell a little stunned. Evidently, Nathan's appointment as the God of War had not beenan accident.

Just as he had finished landing those blows on Nathan, Nathan spoke up.

“Well, you've had your chance. It's my turn now.”

“I'll take you down in one strike!”

Nathan's time of avoidance was over—it was time for him to attack. As he crouched in anaggressive stance, he started to look more fearsome than he did before.

Nathan leaped forward, his hand clenched in a

fist.

It was the first move they learned in military combat class—the Lightning Strike!

Nathan had developed this move from his years of experience on the battlefield—it incorporated thefighting skills taught in the army, as well as the Assassin Boxing Method, which he had come upwith himself.

Nathan thrust his fist towards Quirrell, a horribly dark look on his face.

As his fist whizzed through the air, the surrounding air seemed to part. There was even a distinctcrackling sound not unlike the noise produced by a clap of lightning as it whizzed through the sky.

Meanwhile, Quirrell's expression changed.

He could feel distinctly that Nathan's punch packed the power of a thousand bolts of lightning. Forsome reason, Quirrell had the sense that he was being charged at by an entire battalion of soldiersand horses.

As Nathan got closer to him, Quirrell felt all the heat drain out of him, as though he had suddenlybeen dunked in an ice bath. Even breathing became a little difficult.

Even as he tried to control his fear, he couldn't help but marvel at Nathan's fighting skills. Howstrong!

For some reason, Quirrell felt like turning around and fleeing.

However, he realized that Nathan's fist was already too close to him. There was no way he wasgoing to be able to escape now.

Hence, all Quirrell could do was to stand his ground. Summoning up all the energy in his body, hegrowled deeply and thrust a fist towards Nathan.

Bang!

Their fists crashed against each other with a loud bang that sounded like a menacing boom ofthunder.

Nathan remained perfectly rooted to his spot like a stalwart tree.

However, Quirrell's body convulsed awfully, as though he had been struck by lightning.

The power of Nathan's fist was so strong that it had managed to shatter the bones in Quirrell's rightarm completely.

More frighteningly, that power had radiated through Quirrell's body so his insides felt as though theyhad been turned inside out.

Instantly, Quirrell vomited out a mouthful of blood and stumbled backward, managing to steadyhimself only after seven or eight steps. As he stumbled, he left a trail of heavy footprints in thecement ground.

His face was pale as a sheet as he looked fearfully and miserably at Nathan.

Nathan had managed to break his arm and wreck all his internal organs in one fell swoop!

Wasn't that too frightening?

Quirrell wasn't the only person who was in disbelief.

Even his subordinates were gaping at the scene with their mouths open in shock.novelbin

After all, Quirrell was known as Dragon in the South. Everyone thought he would be able to hold hisown against the God of War.

However, he had been defeated by one punch from Nathan.

Seeing him lie on the floor in misery, Quirrell's subordinates came running up to help him up. Ratheranxiously, they asked, “Boss, are you alright?”

Quirrell opened his mouth as if to say something but immediately threw up blood all over the flooragain.

Nathan said in a calm voice, “Since you were once a respected individual in the army, I made sureto put only two-thirds of my strength into that punch. Whether you'll survive this is up to your owndestiny.”

“By the way, go back and tell Mr. Davier to know his limits. Otherwise, he might end up dying apretty horrible death.”

“Now get lost!”

Quirrell's subordinates carried him on their shoulders and fled the scene immediately.
