Chapter 1601

Quirrell gazed coldly at Colin.

Instantly, warning bells began to sound in Colin's heart.

He felt like a prey that was being watched at a distance by its predator. His entire body tensed up ashe matched Quirrell's gaze rather fearfully.

Over the course of his long career, Colin had killed numerous people and seen just as manyfearsome warriors. However, this was the first time he had seen a person as brutish and cruel asthe man in front of him.

He gazed at the man, and a familiar name popped up in his mind all of a sudden.

Colin's eyes widened in shock as he exclaimed, “I know who you are! You are who the people in theSouth refer to as Dragon! You're Quirrell Simmons, aren't you?”

Quirrell's lips curled into a smile. “As well-developed as your physique looks, I'm surprised to seethat you're not all brawn and no brains. At least you know who I am.”

“Since you were able to identify me, I'll let you leave this place alive.”

“However, you'll have to break all your limbs and kneel before me to beg for mercy. Then, I'll agreeto let you off the hook. How does that sound to

Colin looked furious. “If you think you can achieve your goal of humiliating the General byhumiliating me, you're wrong!” “In the North Army, we would rather die an honorable death in battlerather than kneel and beg for our lives before a miscreant like you!”

Quirrell clapped his hands in delight. “What a wonderful saying! I suppose you've chosen to die, then.”

As soon as he spoke, Quirrell lunged forward at Colin at break-neck speed.

In fact, he moved so quickly that the bystanders' eyes couldn't keep up with his movements at all.All they could see was a shadow flashing past them and throwing itself at Colin.

Quirrell's subordinates whooped in joy as they watched, their eyes wide with excitement.

Quirrell got closer and closer to Colin by the second, his arm raised as though he were going toland a punch on him...

His fist flew through their air towards Colin, moving so quickly that the bystanders nearly mistook itfor a bolt of lightning...

Colin's face was full of shock. Summoning all the strength in his body, he threw a punch at Quirrell, too.novelbin

Crash!

Their fists met in mid-air, smashing against each other with an ear-splitting crack.

Quirrell remained rooted to his spot, looking thoroughly unruffled.

However, Colin flew through the air and landed a few meters away.

Quirrell looked perfectly at ease, but Colin felt as though he had lost all the feeling in his right arm.

This was probably the first time Colin had been defeated by another person in hand-to-handcombat.

At the same time, this defeat pricked his pride a little.

“Again!”

With a loud roar, Colin leaped forward again with his fist extended. He looked as though he had theconfidence of thousands of soldiers and military horses backing him up.

Quirrell didn't expect that Colin would call for another round after getting hit. In fact, Colin'sconviction seemed to have grown.

His lips curled into a smile. “How interesting!”

With that, he assumed the same stance as Colin, kicking off the ground and leaping forward whileholding his fist out.

Bang!

Their fists crashed viciously against each other again.

Quirrell swayed a little from the impact but remained standing where he was.

This time, however, Colin was thrown seven or eight meters away before he finally regained hisbearings and scrambled up again.

Quirrell could feel a slight throbbing in his fist. He felt a little stunned—how could Colin still bestanding after taking the force of his punch twice?

He looked up to see Colin tuck his hand behind his back hastily. His hand was tremblinguncontrollably.

Quirrell smiled to himself. Colin's hand was probably so injured that he couldn't raise it up anymore.

“I told you I was going to kill you within ten moves. Are you going to admit defeat just after thesecond one?”

“You fighters from the North have never failed to disappoint me.”

Colin roared angrily, “Again!”

He leaped into the air again like a tiger, aiming a kick at Quirrell's head.

Quirrell laughed coldly and said, “You think you can take me down with a kick when you can't evenpunch me properly? Dream on!”

With that, he jumped into the air. Moving even more quickly than Colin, he landed a kick at the

man.

Bang!

With a colossal boom, the two of them crashed into each other in midair.

Quirrell landed back on the ground, his leg extended in a kicking position. He gazed at Colin with alazy, contemptuous look in his eye.

On the other hand, Colin grunted in agony as he felt a jolt of pain shoot through his right leg.

Leaning on his injured leg, he struggled to get up from the ground.

Quirrell retracted his leg and laughed mockingly, “Can't get up after a small kick like that? If you askme, you'd better kneel down and beg for mercy now. I'll even let you give a call to Nathan.”

“I'm not very interested in killing you, you understand. I want Nathan to come and see his bestlieutenant kneeling before me for himself. Just thinking about the expression on his face makes melaugh!”

Colin roared, “You can kill me, but you won't be able to humiliate me. Come on! Even if I die, I willtake all ten of your moves.”

A look of anger flashed in Quirrell's eyes. “Then I'll make sure to kill you within those ten moves.”

The two of them assumed an aggressive stance again. Like two colliding stars, they dashed forwardand lunged at each other.

Once again, Colin was flung out a few meters away. Unable to hold himself back, he coughedviolently and spat out a mouthful of blood. However, he gritted his teeth and got up again. As hewiped away the blood on his lips, he

whispered, “Again...”

Quirrell widened his eyes in fury. He growled,

“Go and die!”
