Chapter 2161

There was now a crack in the seal to the Three Thousand Worlds. Those who were relativelyweaker could easily pass through the seal to Earth.

The seal was powerful, and stronger people could not easily travel through to Earth for the timebeing. Even if they were to be able to pass through, they would have to pay a heavy price for doingso.

Laelia’s strength was mediocre, as such she would easily have been able to pass through the seal.

However, Earth was currently in a chaotic state, and she would not be able to compete for thetreasures. Thus, she might as well stay in the Land of Tabal.

The two returned on the same path.

A few days later, they arrived back at Tabalham.

Upon their arrival, the Targwyns bombarded James with questions. However, his answer remainedunchanged. He told them he obtained nothing.

The Targwyns were not surprised that James’ trip to the island was fruitless. So many of their familymembers had gone to the ancestral land in the past, but all were to no avail.

James stayed in the Tabal Empire for the time being.

In the meantime, the Emperor of the Tabal Empire collected food from across the country.

In the blink of an eye, a week had passed.novelbin

James practiced in the independent courtyard behind the palace in the morning. Laelia appearedand said merrily, “James, we’re almost done collecting all the food you requested.”

Hearing this, James was elated.

After having come to the Land of Tabal for so long, he was finally close to completing his task.

“Thank you, Laelia.”

Laelia said smilingly, “You saved our family. This little favor is nothing in comparison. The food isstored in the military base right now. My father asked me to bring you there.”

“Alright.” James nodded.

Laelia gestured to him. “This way, please.”

Afterward, she turned around, led James out of the palace, and showed him the way to the militarybase outside of the city.

Soon, they arrived at the military base.

Along the way, the soldiers that noticed Laelia’s presence respectfully greeted her.

After entering the military base, James saw some tents full of sacks. He could tell the sacks werefilled to the brim with food.

Laelia and James walked side by side.

She opened her mouth and said, “The food my father asked the people to prepare isn’t just anyordinary food. It’s spiritual grain.”

“Spiritual grain?”

James was surprised.

Laelia explained, “Spiritual grain is much more sophisticated than ordinary grain. It containsEmpyrean Spiritual Energy. Cultivators consume spiritual grains in the Land of Tabal, whereasordinary people take regular grains.”

Hearing this, James fell into deep thought.

After a while, he asked, “Could I have some of their seeds?”

“Sure.” Laelia smiled.

She looked at James and asked, “Are you going to move all these grains into the Celestial Abode tobring back to Earth?”

James nodded and said, “Mhm. That’s the only way I can bring them back.”

He was not worried his possession of the Celestial Abode would be exposed because there wereno threats left in the Land of Tabal. Even if word got out, no one would dare to snatch it from him.

With a thought, the ring on his finger burst with golden light and fell onto the open space before him.

The golden light grew stronger and turned into a 100-meter-high abode. The Celestial Abode wassurrounded by golden light, and many soldiers in the military base were attracted to the mysterioussight.

Soon, a crowd gathered around the Celestial Abode.

They inspected the Celestial Abode with astonishment.

James opened the Celestial Abode’s gate.

Laelia immediately ordered, “Gather here. Move all the grain into the Celestial Abode.”

As soon as she issued the order, the soldiers in the military camp took action and began moving thegrain.
