Chapter 1171

With someone following, James had no choice but to wait for the right opportunity to act.

Not saying much in reply, James turned around and walked out of the villa with the Blade of Justice in

his hand.

Lucjan looked at Bryce and ordered, “Follow closely.”

“Understood.” Bryce nodded.

He walked out of the villa and quickly caught up with James, shouting, “James, the car is ready. There

is several days' worth of food in there. Let’s get in.”

As he spoke, he pointed to an off-road vehicle outside the yard.

James walked over, opened the back door of the off-road vehicle, and sat in the back row.

Bryce got into the driver's seat.

Aphrodite and Venus also climbed into the car, each sitting on each side of James.

One of the twins held on to James’ arm, and the other leaned into James, looking very intimate.

James did not say much.

Bryce started the car and drove to the Mount Thunder Sect.

After driving for some time, the car stopped as it could not proceed any further.

Bryce stopped, turned around, and looked at James. He pointed to a mountain ahead and said, “The

mountain ahead is called Mount Romsdalen. It’s the only way to get to the Mount Thunder Sect. Let’s

go there and wait.”

“Mhm.” James nodded.

He knew the way because he had passed through this path before going to the Mount Thunder Sect.

After searching the whole night, the people of the God-King Palace had locked down the location

where James and Quincy met up and took countless pictures of the villa.

While James was ascending the mountain, Thea received the pictures taken by the powerhouses from

the God-King Palace in the hotel and sent them to Quincy.novelbin

Soon, Quincy confirmed the location.

“Let’s go and save him.” Thea stood up and was about to leave.

Maxine quickly stopped her and said, “Do you want to just march to your death?”

“But…”

Maxine interrupted, “No buts. You know of James’ current strength. If even he didn’t dare to act

recklessly and had to consume the poison obediently, that means the person in the villa must be really

strong. We’ll die if we rush in there.”

Thea sat down and asked, “Then, what should we do now?”

Maxine thought for a while and said, “No matter what, rushing over isn’t going to do us any good. We

should come up with a plan to contact James.”

“How do we get in touch with him? I haven’t been able to contact his number these past few days. It’s

obvious he’s blocked me.”

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

Maxine got up and opened the door.

The moment the door was opened, a gun was immediately pressed against her forehead.

She raised her head and slowly stepped back, staring at the man wielding the gun.

It was a man in his thirties or forties. He was dressed in a black suit, and many people were standing

behind him with swords and guns.

While stepping back, Maxine asked, “W-What do you want? Money?”

“Maxine, what’s wrong?”

Thea sensed that something was wrong and raised her head.

Seeing Maxine being held at gunpoint, she quickly stood up and circulated her True Energy, emitting a

powerful aura from her body.

Just as she was about to attack, a figure flashed before her.

Whoosh!

Before she could react, her acupoints were sealed, and she could no longer unleash her True Energy.

Thea felt rubber, and she fell to the sofa.

She could finally clearly see the old man that flashed before her just now.

“W-Who are you?” Thea asked coldly.

The man holding a gun to Maxine’s head quickly retracted it.

He kneeled on the ground on one knee.

“It’s an honor to meet you, Ms. Thea.”

The people behind him also knelt and followed suit.

“It’s an honor to meet you, Ms. Thea.”

A loud and uniform voice sounded.

Maxine was completely dumbfounded.
