A man dressed in raggedy clothes immediately appeared. He looked about 50 years old and had a
round face, thick eyebrows, and large eyes. With a fierce expression on his face, he looked almost like
a butcher.
Lucjan introduced, “This is Bryce Quest. He’s at the peak of the sixth rank and is one step away from
entering the seventh.”
James looked at Bryce and nodded in reply without acknowledging the man.
Bryce put his palms together and bowed respectfully as he said, “James, I’m looking forward to working
with you. I’ve been informed that we are tasked with ambusing the participants for this year’s martial
arts conference.”
James maintained a calm expression and nodded lightly.
